Thapar Private College

Remarks :

I was given an EIC at Thapar in the spot round due to a respectable grade point average of 92.8% and I later received an ECE upgrade through a university internal exam. The Jee Mains percentage is typically used by Thapar, and students from Punjab are given extra consideration. A respectable branch at Thapar is possible if your percentile is higher than 90. The Thapar website contains both the admission letter and all of the crucial admission dates. Consequently, in the spot round at Thapar, with a respectable proportion of 89%, I was given an EIC, and I later upgraded to ECE by passing a university internal exam. Usually, Thapar accepts students based on their performance in the jee Mains, with extra consideration given to those who live nearby.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Most of my basic subjects are covered in my decent course curriculum, along with some computer-related topics. The order of these disciplines ensures that the computer course placement companies require is taught later n the last semester.

Internships Opportunities :

Thapar provides a lot of internship opportunities for students to grow and make their future bright. Recently around 10-15 companies have visited our campus which included big names like DE SHAW, Salesforce, LinkedIn, and many more. Their offers were very good too, the average stipend was about Rs. 1,00,000. This is not our internship semester this is just the start of companies visiting our campus more are about to come.

Placement Experience :

All final-year students in our college participate in interviews. In our college, about 80-90% of applicants are placed, with average annual salaries of around 8 lakh. Although the average annual revenue for computer branches is higher at roughly 11 - 12 lakh. The students observed a rise in placement trends during the previous 3 years. The companies begin to arrive for placement offers in the 7th semester. Most students are placed by 8thsemester. around 350 companies visited our university the previous year, and 1500 students were placed. The student received the biggest offer, which was around 40 lakh, but the average salary remained around 11 lakh. According to Thapar statistics, 80-90% of pupils were placed with amazing packages.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I am in my 5th semester of college, which is the pre-final year, and roughly 10 organizations have come to offer internship chances. 20 students have already been placed, with average monthly salaries of 1 lakh CTC. There were internship offers from large corporations such as DE SHAW. It is more likely that until the 7th semester, internship chances are available, and that 60% or so of students take advantage of attractive offers, which average $27,000 per month. Additionally, a lot of od students collaborate on projects here with college professors, publish their research papers, and then receive favorable offers to continue their studies or career. For their make a minimal cur of roughly 8.

Campus Life :

Students at Thapar enjoy themselves, discuss important topics, and are all given equal time and attention without prejudging. students flit between class, the mess, and other activities. It takes some getting used to, but eventually all students value the autonomy they have over how they spend their time. Every year, Thapar hosts two to three large events, such as Thapar food fest, when students sample cuisine from around the world. Appreciate the dancing and other musical and comedic performances in various locations. thapar has a variety of societies representing a certain culture. All of them run various programs throughout the year. Our university has a large library with roughly one lakh books covering journals, novels, friction, and more.

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college is good and differs in every course, the highest placement record is 45.5lpa which is going to be increased the number if companies visiting is also increasing which increases the number of placements and the average package is 8lpa. If I can't get a on campus placement then I will try for off campus placement. Students of final year of their course will be eligible for the placements if they fulfill the company putted criterias. As college promised the 100% placement but it is not right only some students were getting placed who have some extra skills and knowledge Various companies visited the college every year like Autodesk, Cisco, XPERI, Toki, Accenture, Edoofa, delta x, RT camp etc and provides a good number of placements

Placement Experience:

so every year different companies visit our campus and people from the fourth year are able to see for the placement. Firstly, we have to clear a written entrance test once clear that the company will interview them and get the job so the highest package last year went 25,00,00 per annum. However, the average package is six lakh per annum. It completely depends upon your CGPA and your personal skills, how much you groom yourself to be fit for that company. Tech and non-tech companies both visit.

Placement Experience:

If we have skills, we get placements here, and if we work hard, we can get up to 50 LPA. Most of the renowned companies will come for placements, for example, Microsoft, Google, etc. TCS will give a high number of job offers, but the package is low. It all depends on you and your skills. The placement percentage in Computer Science is about 80-90%, and the average is 7 LPA.

There were many companies like Microsoft, Infosys, TCS, Google, Wal-Mart and more than 800+ companies visited for campus placements. I will prefer for startup if I will not get the desirable placements offers.

CT University has best placement record till now. They have 400+ recruitment partners. Companies like byjus, paytm, infosys, max healthcare and capgemini have already recruited students from CT University. CTU also have corporate resource centre in ct university , to provide ample opportunities for full time internships, on job trainings and placement in reputed companies. Also, students are doing internships with stipends within the university also as CTU ambassadors along wwith theirt study, so this should be a good enough proof of the quality of the skills being imparted to the students.
