The admission process is simple for the BCom course you didn't have any entrance exam You have to visit the university, fill out the form, then the name will appear on the list, then admission will be done If the name does not appear on the list, the admission will be done but the additional fee will have to be paid

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have done from 12th science Later I chose the commerce field because am interested in the banking sector I have heard that Shivaji University is a very good university and it is true Total 6 semesters for this course Everything is not difficult if you study

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 2500 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Many companies visit our college and select the best students and offer them jobs Like tcs Infosys HDFC ICICI and many others co-operative banks in the banking sector Companies first select students for internships and offer them a good package after graduation

Placement Experience :

There are courses like BA Bcom Bsc Bba etc Excellent students get good placement after completing these courses Some students have got annual packages up to 100000 After my degree is complete I will also try placement

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees for all courses at Shivaji University are very low compared to other universities And education is also very good Here scholarship and fee concession under ebc is also met so even poor children can get a good education

Campus Life :

The construction of the college is very beautiful The trees are lush so the mind is very happy in the natural environment The College campus is very big The college is spread over 600 acres in the middle of Kolhapur city

Student life and academic balance

Course Curriculum Overview:

Accounts is the main reason I chose that subject .because there is a opportunity to get jobs in accountants or in banking sector.curriculam prepares very well .basic concepts to be improved and teaching methods are also very difficult to understand. The exams are very early due to that I can't complete course in a month also

Everything I said is true to my knowledge and I am not sure about anything as years have passed after my graduation.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, one gets eligible for placement. No idea about the packages. And more than 70% according to me might have been placed. I am further studying the professional course and will be going into the profession of teaching.

Thane college

Remarks:

Very non fussy and dedicated to study type.of college with no nonsense approach to studies.

Admission:

I chose this college mainly due to proximity to my house which was then in thane. And also because the college had a fairly good reputation.Since I had got very good marks in 10th standard admission process was a breeze. Chose this course because I was very commercially inclined.
