Review as a student of THAKUR COLLEGE OF SCIENCE AND COMMERCE, KANDIVALI

ac

Remarks :

I m a student of Thakur College from 11 standard where the cutoff was 74% so I was selected on 1st merit list and thereafter I scored well and took admission to the same college via in-house quota and the course was BCOM and I m SEM 6 I scored well and taken MCOM in the same college, and currently, 3 months ago I cleared my MCOM from the same college and my percentage was 70.29. Overall college is good and the admission process is easy and convenient but the staff is not cooperative.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose Mcom because of my E-commerce knowledge and from the beginning I'm good with theoretical subjects rather than practical ones. Almost 75 to 80 students per class and currently Thakur college has one division of mcom ecom with 71 students. The faculty is highly qualified and the teaching is also good. We have 4 semesters in MCOM and during mid of every semester, we use to give CE (INTERNAL) EXAMS.

Placement Experience :

There are many placements are conducted in our college. Companies like HDFC, LIC, TCS, WIPRO, etc do conduct interviews, and packages may vary from company to company. And they select candidates according to their needs and candidates efficiency. Currently, I'm doing a job in Asian paints as a sales team.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees are a little bit expensive in this college as compared to other colleges. We expect 20 to 30 % high fees from another college. But college is overall good and well maintained accordingly. There are many quotas while admission so students can take benefit from it as well.

Campus Life :

Thakur college conducts its own fest that is TARAANGAN and there are many celebrities invited to this fest. There are many curricular activities conducted during fest and apart from this, there are many fests taking place around the year. NSS and NCC are also introduced in our college and they do many social works.
