Remarks :

For Admission to my college. First of all, we fill out an application form on the chancellor portal site. After filling out the application form we will be charged 100 rupees and pay the application fees through online mode. After filling out the form, A list is published by our college. This list consists students of who were selected. Students were selected according to cut-off marks. The average cut-off mark every year is 65% in the 12th class. Reservation for students is also available according to caste category. Females also have separate reservations. As per my suggestion admission process is very good.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this subject i.e. Bachelor of Arts History Honours. For the preparation for UPSC BPSC JPSC and other competitive exams. In my faculty, there are not any placements by the college. For this subject, well knowledgeable teachers were hired by the college. A smart board was provided by the college for students. For the Bachelor of Arts, there are six semesters, exams were taken every semester i.e. every six months gap. First of all practical exams were held and after that theoretical exams were held.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees for my Bachelor's courses are very low as compared to other colleges i.e. 2000 approx every semester and 650 Rs examination fees. The college also provides scholarships to SC St obc caste students. But there was not any placement for history honors subject in my college.

Campus Life :

The annual fest and tech fest are held by the college at regular intervals of time. The previous month our college celebrated its 65th establishment anniversary. Our college also celebrates all national festivals with very much joy and prosperity. Our chief guest is a very V.I.P. citizen. And our college also organized sports programs for students. The list of sports is Kabaddi Cricket football basketball etc. A P.k Roy official group is created by students on Facebook.

Placement Experience:

The placement package of st Xavier's College Ranchi is near to 4-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Pantaloons, Reliance, Trends, and Shopper Stop in cities like Ranchi and other companies like LIC , Reliance. Highest package offered was 7LPA and average package is around 4-5 LPA. Approximately 40-50% of students are getting placement. My plans after getting the is to prepare for UPSC examination.

Course Curriculum Overview:

BA in Political Science is just a generic course in this college. The syllabus that they follow is of Age old Ranchi University. It needs to change. There is a big scope for that. They should improve it.

Admission:

I cleared the second cut off list, after which i immediately went to the University with the required documents along with photocopies. I submitted the documents to the admission in charge and i received an admission slip which was to be used a College ID until we received an actual college ID.

Placement Experience:

The University was established in 2018 and hence no placement interviews have taken place as of now. But the Internships are really good and give us a practical experience. They're also a number of paid internships available.
