Remarks :
Eligibility- 50% overall marks are minimum without any active backlog. Application is online, a fee of 500 Rs is for Application & application dates are given on ICFAI university Tripura official site. After filling out the application you need to go to the university or branch office for admission along with all mark sheets, price, cast certificates, photo & migration certificate & one form have to be filled up then you have to pay 20,000 admission fee and 10,000 refundable caution deposit.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I love designing & planning of buildings & roadworks so I have taken admission to this course. There are separate 2-4 faculties for every subject. Most of the faculties are Ph.D. holders with many years of experience & In a class having around a maximum of 60 students, they use the projector for proper understanding. There is 2 internal exam of 10 marks each, one mid-term exam & one end-term exam. Starting date of the exam is given at the starting of the semester, exam questions are a little tough.
Internships Opportunities :
PWD internships are available for civil engineering students. You can apply for railway, airport, NHIDCL, ONGC & other private companies internships. But no stipend is given. A special project is there for final year B.Tech students, after completing its proper presentation and report have to be submitted.
Placement Experience :
For B.Tech from the 7th semester, you can apply for campus placement. Byjus, amazon, unacademy, etc. companies visit here. The average package is 3.2lacs highest is 12lacs. Around 20% of students get placement from here. I'll be preparing for job exams.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
B.Tech course has a semester fee of 50,000 rs which will not be increased while the current season is ongoing if there is a hike only new admission students will pay the new fee. State scholarships, NJUDAY merit scholarship is there for 8point & 9 pointers, some private companies came here with packages 3.2-4lakhs / annum.
Campus Life :
The annual fest named Icaria is here in February which is the biggest festival in the northeast region. For freshers, there are novatos in November. Library books are always available for students you can read them in the Library or you can keep 10 days at your home. Classes have projector, speakers & enough branches. Annual sports fest is there, singing & dancing is there. some cultural programs are there.
