If You are interested in discovering various aspects of Agriculture then Choose RPCAU blindly!!

Remarks :

For admission, one has to give the ICAR exam conducted by NTA every year and obtain a good rank.., Application forms are available on the NTA website and the exam used to be conducted after NEET, around August-September. As per OBC, EWS, SC, and ST quota candidates, a state mop-up round of counselling is conducted too after ICAR counselling (if seats remain vacant) and the candidates take admission according to their ICAR ranks, if they fail to get any college by ICAR counselling. ICAR also provides NTS Scholarships to students outside of Bihar. every semester if they obtain more than 7 OGPA on their semester exams. The Bihar government too provides a separate scholarship to students having a Bihar domicile.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Faculties are usually scientists, doing research on various crop species. They are usually PhD graduates. If you are passionate about knowing about agricultural aspects of India, you should definitely get admission into Dr. RPCAU Pusa. Term exams are not so easy and not very difficult. One needs to focus on their concepts taught by teachers to perform well in term exams.

Internships Opportunities :

Internship opportunities are good for students here. From this college and university, a student can definitely pursue his or her dream in the agricultural field. Different types of projects are taking place at the university. Every year, new crop varieties emerge from Pusa University Samastipur.

Placement Experience :

The placement record of the college is good for the UG courses offered. One can get a good campus placement after PG (M.Sc.) in any of the different courses. For the UG courses, seed, fertilizer, and companies used to visit every year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

ICAR NTS Scholarships are available for students who are admitted through the ICAR Counselling Process and live outside of Bihar each semester (students must have a minimum OGPA of 7 in semester exams). Each semester, students with Domicile of Bihar receive a Bihar government scholarship, as well as a separate scholarship for purchasing books.

Campus Life :

There are not many clubs for students present today. We don't have many clubs. A cricket club is present in which every year a cricket tournament takes place. An Art and Society club is also present in which inter-college competitions in art, craft, speech, debate, and essay writing take place.

Admission:

There were two authorities who used to take our entrance exam. One was Bihar combined entrance competitive exam for 85% of seats and for other 15% All India Entrance Examination ICAR was responsible for it. Both the entrance exams were tough. But as I had good command on my 12th PCB syllabus and some information on agriculture field I passed the ICAR exam with flying colours.

Admission:

The age of the student for getting an admission should be a minimum of the age of 17 years. They should have given their 12th examination for any recognized Board or University. Students are selected through the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination which is conducted the Govt. of Bihar every year. Or one can also give the All India Entrance Examination which is conducted by ICAR.
