Course Curriculum Overview :
The way of teaching is extremely good and also the contents. Courses are choosen as per semester and also they have a plan of selection of different courses so that students may harness maximum of their knowledge and also which improves there social and practical knowledge too. They organise educational tour related to our studies and students get exposure of industrial knowledge. There are so my of company which has given jobs to University students.
Placement Experience :
There are about 30 companies which are visiting every year for placement. And also they organises the training camp for students as well as farmers too. Different companies have their own procees of selecton. Generally they have 3 steps of selection that are Written, objective, personal interview. About 90 to 120 students are getting placements every year.
College Events :
Cultural events in which all the departments will participate and they provide certificates to students too. Technical events are also organised for the engineering students as well as other too for different types of software handling. Also there is Krishi Mela, which is organised evry year to give a view of different works as well and different technologies which are being or should be used by farmers and students too.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
According to different programs and courses the fee stucture is avialble on University web site. Which includes all the information regarding fee. Also they provides relief in fee for SC and ST students and some relief to OBC students too on some conditions. College gives us a fully automatic print of for what we have paid and how much.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
They provide ICAR SCHOLARSHIP AND NTS for those students which are in under the rank of ICAR scholarship they get that one which is Rs 12600 per month and all other students get the NTS one which Rs 5000 per month.
Campus Life :
Gender ratio is about 3 on 1 and freshers and farewell partiesbare organised by students itselfs.there is University club which is going to be used as per the departments when they have to unit for some reasons. University is full of different students from different parts of country.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes they provide hostel to each student, hostel rooms are big well furnished and equipped with basic facilities which a student need having 24 hrs water supply of purified water. There is no facility of rental room outside the campus and also they do not allow students to stay outside the campus. Only one mess for about 300 students this is the loop hole of University. Also the food is not good and the space is also bot sufficient for whole students.and in each room there are 3 students seated which bit congested.
Alumni/Alumna :
Seniors are very helpul and they porvides all the notes and also they guides us how to prepare for future goals and which books to be read during exams and for entrance exam too.
Admission :
Soil science is cumulative of 8 disciplines which we are studied in our past years and also its a logical and interesting subject, Factors. Its central agricultural University It is near to my home place Fee is less as compared to other institutions Soil science department is very good Getting scholarship also. Steps for getting admission. First you have to give entrance exam AIEEE PG from ICAR site Then You have to be a rank holder under 50 then you have to go for admission procedure as followed by ICAR instructions
Faculty :
About 10 lecturer is presently taking over our on going semester having age between 35 to 50 years old which all are assistant professor and professors too. They are highly qualified tearchers and have so much of research experiences and they have published many research papers and books too which are published in various renounced publication like elveir springer etc.
