ALL ABOUT DNLU

Remarks :

Eligibilty- Candidates have to clear CLAT examination. The eligibility for CLAT you can find on College Duniya's Website. I have availed O.B.C. category reservation. Normally for O.B.C Candidates(M.P.) ranks upto 4000 can get you admissions in DNLU.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The brochure of the college says the current student faculty ratio is 21:1. Law faculties are highly qualified and had a great experience in their respective fields, most of our faculties are pass-outs of different top National Law Universities. I would say the most amazing thing about DNLU is its teaching staff, the faculties are very friendly in nature and help every student who come to them. There are two exams every semester, the mid term and the end terms, the exams are not so easy as this is a National Law University and thus it maintains a standard of question papers.

Internships Opportunities :

The internship and placement cell of the college helps students in getting internship, under different advocates and The state legal service authoriy. After the lockdown internship cell was reconstituted.

Placement Experience :

Since first batch of college is yet to be out, anyone cannot claim about the internship and placement. Although the college have a Internship and placement cell which helps the students to get internships.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Now this is the point where our college lags, even though our college is one of the new National Law University, it charges a high fees from students. As per the new brochure of the university 241000 is the new annual fees of the college, which includes hostel charges but mess charges are not included in this( normally the mess charges are around 15000-16000 per semester). The brochure also mentions about 10% fees hick every year other than the tution fees. But there are many scholarship available to the students like the Mukhyamantri medhavi chatr Yojna, Akansha Yojna, Post matric Scholarship for OBC, SC and ST students. Apart from this the college also provide financial aid to some students who don't fall under criteria of any scholarship and face hardship in submitting the fees. You can also avaial CAN Foundation scholarship. You should consider this point while taking admissions, since this is a new NLU, even after that charging a high fees.

Campus Life :

The university is currently functional in Rented Campus so you can't expect much from the campus. There are some parties organized by the students, like recenlty we had a Reopening Party when our campus reopened after lockdown and a holi party also. I think we will soon have more fests and parties which will be organized by different Centres and Committees of the Univerity. We have air conditioned classrooms with projectors in each classroom. The college library is not so develped and we need a big library although reading room and e-library suffice our needs. The sports facilities are not so good we have table tennis, chess and carrom for indoor games and Cricket ground which is not properly maintainted. Two three clubs are started but are not much functional since they got busy in academics and projects as this was the first semester after lockdown, but i hope these clubs will grow with time.

Hostel Facilities :

Our hostels are properly maintained by the staff and hostel supervisors who are also very friendly with the students. Students are provided with one bed, one table and chair three almirah, every room has fans and coolers, two windows every room and thus maintains air passage. V.I.P. rooms facility is also provided by college which are charged higher than the normal rooms, these rooms have AC's. Hostels are affordable 37000 for a year. They allow you to stay in the hostels in the internship period if you are doing an internship in Jabalpur.

Interview Experience :

no there are no GD, Interview, you have to clear CLAT examination that is the only requirement here. details of which you can get through college duniya's website or you can directly go to consortium website.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is essential to guide teachers in what to teach, how much depth of knowledge is needed for that grade and a timeline to follow so the year will be completed. Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information rather than the information itself.

Placement Experience:

The exposure of placement is 50-50 . If you have capability and skills you get placed. There are not much but good number of companies come here and take students after their different hiring process. They select students. Mostly IT companies come in very good number and most of the IT students placed here in such a good companies. So you can say that 50% of the students get placed in this college every year.
