Remarks :

Don't get impressed by the beautiful campus and facilities. Acharya B-School is not good for all courses. I suggest that you get in touch with previous students if possible and then take a call.

Entrance Preview :

There are no entrance exams for the Bachelors' courses here.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The BCA curriculum covered Microsoft Office, PHP, CSS Sprites, SQL, HTML, Java, C++, CVisual, C++Visual, StudioVisual, BasicJavaScript, PhpMyAdmin, Photoshop, Windows and Unix Shell Scripting very well. The course curriculum is quite thorough and rigorous.

Placement Experience :

Placements are not there for BCA students. Most people opt for job search on their own or they do masters.

College Events :

The college has an annual day. They do promote extra-curricular activities among students. What is best are the subject wise clubs here. You must take advantage of them.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

They have category wise fee reductions available. Check the college website for more details. I think there is fee discount for defense background, SC/ST, girls, economically weak,

Campus Life :

Activities and Societies: Blind Coding, Gaming, Playing Table tennis, Badminton, Digital World Club & Debate. I tried to take maximum advantage of activities on campus. That's the best way to make friends here.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility is very good. It is expensive but worth the money and cheaper than living outside. Cleanliness and hygiene are well-maintained.

Exam Structure :

Course is of 3 Years - 6 Semesters. We have semester wise exams.

Faculty :

Faculty is good for BCA. The faculty at this institution indeed ensures that every student has developed to work better. We were given a lot of practical work. The computer lab facilities were put to extensive use for this.

From 4th semester students become eligible for placements, I don't know the proper information about the companies but I know that Infosys visited our college and the package was very less, I'll go for higher studies after degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements while they are in their third semester onwards. But some companies demand to complete their studies first and join them. The companies visited are Infosys, Wipro, Toshiba, etc. Almost 80% of 100% get placements. The remaining students get other opportunities in other placements. Well, I plan to get a government job and I don't like placements

Remarks:

Srinivas University is one of the top college in Mangalore and it is the only college in Mangalore which provides highest number of courses. College infrastructure is great. Colleges follow greenery and good in cleanliness. The laboratories are well maintained with all the latest equipment. Facilities like library, sports room, hostel, Wi-Fi, ATM etc are provided by college.Fees structure is not such high compared to other colleges.

Admission:

In order to get admission in this institution, the student should be a class 12 pass with atleast 50 % marks. the candidate will have to go through entrance exam and based on their result they will be selected for the university

Placement Experience:

There is the department of placement. They provide with great opportunities to its students. There are internships for  the students to grow. They also provide with jobs and placements for their students. Many firms come and recruit the students. Many students take part in the placement programme and enhance their skills.

Admission:

My result was late. The seats were almost got over but by the time I came for admission, mine was the last seat they told they would be joined. Admission was taken based on my marks. If I would had got less marks. Then I Couldnt have got admitted.

Placement Experience:

As my seniors are holding placements in Amazon, Dell, flipkart, Samsung, Sony etc. I am still studying. We have more placement training classes at weekly twice. In this session students are thought and trained about getting placed.
