Remarks :

I have applied to Bhartiya Vidyapeeth Navi Mumbai college. The reason that I did not opt for it was due to the fee structure. It was very much costly and the second reason was that the faculty the infrastructure at this college is much better than the Mumbai college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I was interested in serving people, and giving them the best smiles. The faculty is very much help there. The exams were held in every 3 months and a university exam at the end of the year. The exams were tough but if you complete your syllabus and study thoroughly you can definitely crack them.

Class Size : 100Course Fees : INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The internship was for 1 year and in the college itself. They would provide a stipend also. We were allowed to do patients, we used to handle the outpatient department. The patient flow was also quite good.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees are on the higher side because it's a deemed university but when we consider the infrastructure the teaching method the learning it's definitely worth it. There was no scholarship. We Gt an internship opportunity of 1 year with the college.

Campus Life :

Life at the campus was fabulous. There was a Ganesh festival held once a year which would last for 9 days. We had a dance competition, cooking competitions, and fashion shows during that period. There was a sports committee also. There are many sports played in the college like chess, badminton, football, basketball etc.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostels were quite good. Each hostel had a warden. There were facilities for the mess, cleaning, laundry everything. The food was of good quality. The kitchens were hygienic. The hostels were on the campus itself.

Hostel Fee : INR 70000 per year

Modern day Dental Education

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason why I chose this course is because I was interested in the human body anatomy and biology. Subjects like oral surgery, radiology and general medicine are my current favourites. The curriculum prepares us for real life cases by including various examples of different patients. The practical quota is such that it requires the students to attend to the patient in real life scenarios in an actual hospital. These experiences gained in the clinics during the course help in better understanding the theory part of the curriculum.

Curriculum is well matched with the courses. There are practical classes which are really important for the health care field. In those classes we are actually taught the skills which we will require in our work, which will help us to treat our patients. Life at GDC MUMBAI

Course Curriculum Overview:

BDS is the only degree where you start with specialization. You have a limited part to deal with but has diverse clinical cases. One can easily set up a clinic after BDS unlike MBBS . Review of my dental school

Remarks:

Positives: A healthy hassle free environment without any kind of ragging related issues. One of the safest colleges for Womens. Frequent placement drives from various of companies all over India. Leaves you with adequate knowledge about the subject with acceptable academics. Negatives: Not suitable if you want to enjoy the college life along with academics. Fee structure is not feasible for lower class people if appointed through management.
