Course Curriculum Overview :

Ever since I was a child, I was interested in Electronics goods and computer programming. Since I came to know that the ECE curriculum is comprised of both electronics and computer coding, I had my heart set on this and after completion of the course, I found I wasn't wrong at that time. The teachers and lab facility were awesome in a single word. They are not only provided with the academic knowledge but also technical exposure.

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Placement Experience :

After completion of the 6th semester, plenty of companies start to visit our campus. More than 85 companies visited last year. List of a few companies who gave us the opportunity:- Amazon, Delloite, ITC Infotech, EY, Persistent, Virtusa, Capgemini, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, HCL, Mphasis, Zensar, Xenonstack, SAP, amdocs, Infosys, Highest package is 32LPA by amazon. and the average package is 4LPA. More than 90% of students are placed this year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The cost of the course is a total 4 lakh in 4 years unless you are in TFW(very few seats are available). I got two job offers from two well-known reputed MNCs namely Wipro and TCS (Tata Consultancy Services),

Campus Life :

The name of the annual fest is yagvik and the tech fest is prabudhha which is conducted in June every year. One can look forward to a plethora of activities that are scheduled and organized regularly. All kinds of books by various authors are available in the library which is required for the course itself and placement preparation. Sports are conducted in winter on the nearby ground. Apart from these, our college has a music club, coding club, hiking club

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

Overall only one thing is important is about hardwork with smart work . You have to work on your skills rest college is there to help you to show the path from your college to carrier .

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
