Remarks :

The admission process is fairly smooth, transparent, and straight forward. The requirements are completion of graduation from a recognized pharmacy college, with a bachelor's degree. Moreover, the students appearing for admission shall be GPAT qualified with a valid GPAT score card. For those students who are not GPAT qualified, an additional entrance exam has to be given held by the Institute. The admission occurs based on the merit list generated from the students who have applied, followed by branch selection. Moreover, there is a scope for reshuffling of branch if vacancies are present. The process of admission is done via the Nirma University website, uploading necessary documents.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The feild of pharmaceutical sciences offers ample opportunities to pursue a career in healthcare sector. There is quite a healthy faculty student ratio. All the faculty members are highly qualified, competent and posses a strong research portfolio. The teaching method is quite interactive, involving and always welcome to questioning and exploration. Moreover they give efforts to refine the students knowledge by means of practical problem solving and critical thinking. The semester occurs in well defined semester plan, which is given at the beginning of each semster. The examinations are conducted in a timely manner, in a fair and transparent method. Post examinations there are paper showing sessions where the students can view the checked answer sheets and understand their mistakes and improve upon them in the future examinations. At the end of the semester there is a display of marks and grades recieved from all components.

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are provided to students for practical exposure to the pharmaceutical industry. Many companies such as Emcure, Acculfie, Zydus, Sun Pharma, Otsuka, Torrent etc induct students as interns. Stipends are provided depending on the company, and role. The internship cell is proactive with adequate guidance from faculties and mentors.

Placement Experience :

The placement cell here is very active and supportive. They groom students by conducting soft skills and personality development programs. They arrange mock interviews, group discussion and interactions. Placements are offered to all students. Several reputed pharmaceutical companies recruit such as Sun Pharma, Zydus, Intas, Torrent, Marico, Nestle, Lupin, Blaire, Emcure, Acculife etc to name a few

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The institute provides scholarship to students who have qualified GPAT, moreover stipend is also given to non GPAT qualified students as well. The fees of the institution are regulated by the Fee Regulation Committee FRC and are revised with respect to its guidelines.

Campus Life :

The campus life here is very vibrant and happening. Various event are organised throughout the year, both academic and cultural. This keeps the students engaed provides a platform to showcase and hone talents and gives a learning experience. The event are designed in a manner in which they bring about all round development of the students. They inculcate management and interpersonal skills. The flagship cultural events are Rostrum, Euphoria. Pharma fest such as Enigma and Kridaangan. Academic such as Nipicon, Ncip, seminars, workshops, hands on training. There is a student association named NIPSA. There are various clubs such as dance, music, literature, photography etc. NIPSA publishes their annual newsletter named Sysmic Bytes. Various alumni gatherings and events are conducted by IPNUAA.

Job opportunities in pharmacy sector is quite tough compare to other destination .But in Parul institute of pharmacy and research providing some campus interview .So job opportunities bit good but not excellent .
