Remarks :

Admission process was very easy. It was CAP as usual. I being a direct second-year student was admitted to the institute based on my diploma score. At the time of my admission (2019), cut-off for direct second year engineering was near about 87% for this institute. All the other details related to the admission process, fee, reservation benefits etc. are mentioned on the institute's website www.mescoepune.org

Course Curriculum Overview :

I being a diploma graduate in mechanical engineering chose a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering at this institute as my under graduation stream. Professors teaching for this course at the institute are highly qualified & have rich experience. Teaching is done on screens using projectors & other modern teaching techniques. The faculty is student-friendly & co-operative. Each & every student is allotted a parent-teacher to regularly trace the student's performance & attendance & also help the student in case of any personal emergencies. There is a fixed schedule for mid-term exams & submissions which is strictly followed.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 108850 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Students get exposed to various internship opportunities from the third year itself. Internships with attractive stipends & of diverse fields are offered. Students also continue with their internship project as a part of their final year project.

Placement Experience :

Placements at the institute are fairly good. Students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester onwards. Many MNCs visit the institute for the recruitment like Capgemini, Infosys, Wipro, Act Talent, Cognizant, Persistent, Faurecia, Mahindra & Mahindra, TCS, Bridgestone & the list continues. Around 80% of the eligible students get placed every year. The average package is around 4.15 LPA & the highest package offered is 10 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid :

The fee for the course is comparatively nominal. Also, many government scholarship schemes can be availed through the institute. The institute also runs earn & learn program where the student has to work for certain fixed hours after the college & she/he will be paid for her/his work. Students also get internship opportunities through the institute.

Campus Life :

Campus life is very joyful. There are 3 department-level students' association like MESA (mechanical), ETSA (E&TC) & ACE (computer) which conduct many technical & non-technical events for the students throughout the year. Then there are many college level clubs as well like Techne Club, Designer's Club, Astitva, Robocon, Baja, Directing Visions, NSS & many more which give the students an opportunity to explore & showcase various traits of their personality. Jhankaar, the annual social gathering of the institute is dear to the hearts of all MESCOEites.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum involves learning high tech technologies like Artifical Intelligence, Data Science, Machine learning, VLSI and Automation. This curriculum builds the skill set of an individual for the contemporary industrial needs. Areas of improvement should be regularly field and industrial visits should be conducted.
