Remarks :

The admission process is based on WBJEE rank or JEE mains rank with valid "+2" marks of any Central or state board. Direct admission is also available based on your Board score. For home state eligible candidates, there is a provision for TFW admission(Tuition Fee Waiver).

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have chosen Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning because it is in huge demand nowadays and in the upcoming future. The faculties are very friendly. The ratio is 1:40 approx. All faculties are post-graduated or Ph.D. holder.2 internal exams are held in a semester.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 90000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Many internships in many companies before completion of the degree. Companies like Cognizant and Infosys provide internships also. Web development, App development, and many other roles are offered an internship.

Placement Experience :

From the 6th semester, onwards many MNCs start visiting our campus for hiring. Cognizant, Infosys, TCS, Accenture, and Juspay are the main recruiters. A total of 289 offers were offered up to April 2022 for 219 eligible candidates. 96% of the students got placed on campus. Highest package-27 lakhs, Average package-6 lakhs. I am also looking for a good placement after getting the degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is very affordable as compared to many private engineering colleges. It provides a B.Tech degree course in 4.8 lakhs whereas many private colleges charge up to 15 lakhs. For home state students with a good rank, they can avail of TFW.

Campus Life :

A tech fest is organized in March. Annual sports are also there for both boys and girls in cricket, Badminton, Table-Tennis,100m race, and 200m race. There is a big central library with a collection of many books. Digital classroom with a ventilated room.

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

From seventh semester the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies visited are like TCS, Cognizant, infosys, mindtree and many others. The avg pkg is 6 lpa and highest is 12 lpa. 90 percent students gets placed.

Overall only one thing is important is about hardwork with smart work . You have to work on your skills rest college is there to help you to show the path from your college to carrier .

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

Remarks:

One of the good colleges.

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
