Remarks :

The Eco-Club organizes activities with the aim to provide eco- friendly and academically conducive environment on the campus. Environment Day is celebrated with lots of fervor and new saplings are planted in and around the institute to have a “Green and Clean” campus.

Entrance Preview :

I appeared for MAT (90 percentile) and CAT (80 percentile). I preferred this college as I heard a lot about this college from the alumni and checked the ratings too. The course structure is different than other colleges so I found it interesting. The college faculty is well experienced. The course is different from other colleges. The record of the college academics is very renowned. The brand name of PU is very prestigious. The placement cell is also very good.

Course Curriculum Overview :

An MBA course in this college has sharpen my vision, increase your business acumen, enhance your skill set and help you view things with a business perspective. At Global MBA has dual Specilisation i.e. Marketing as compulsory and HR/Finance/IB/IT as optional. In recent year the demand for MBA in MNCs, Public & Private Sector is tremendous.

Hostel Facilities :

The Global Institute provides a home away from home in terms of its hostel accommodation for both UG & PG boys and girls. The hostels are equipped with all necessary facilities such as: A/C and non A/C rooms, 24 Hours free Wi-Fi connectivity and Intercom, round the clock electricity backup and security arrangement, Medical Room (Doctor on panel/campus) Gymnasium and Indoor sports facilities.

Placement Experience:

Top recruiters as I can remember are BHEL, DRDO, HONDA, Philips, NTPC, The Times of India, Tech Mahindra, Tech Mahindra, Airtel, etc. The highest salary package offered was Rs.10 LPA and an average salary of Rs.3 LPA was offered in our final placement program. We had a separate cell of internship cell and also the task performance cell. All training helped us to develop techniques, communication skills, management skills and also decision-making skills, etc.

Remarks:

One of the reasons for this could be the geographical proximity of the institute since it was pretty close to my house. The constant assistance we got from the faculty members served on top of a top-notch infrastructure. Everyone is pretty friendly here and the social life is pretty decent. Corporate exposure is magnificent.

Admission:

Admission process is pretty straight forward and easy. Admissions are granted on a direct basis. I applied to the college in the offline format. After that I appeared for an interview round. For document verification, you need to produce all your academic documents like 10th, 12th, graduation, and any other valid document.

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is dedicated to bridging the gap between the students and recruiters. Companies visit the campus in order to recruit students for a number of profiles including consultant, sales executive, financial management, etc. Companies which generally visit our campus include Genpact, ICICI, HDFC, Bharti Airtel, etc.

College is nice and is coming up in Gurgaon as leader in education. I think there is a need for better confidence in industry for Gurgaon based Amity university. More companies should visit the campus and give opportunities to students in better roles in their company.

Remarks:

Our college is good in terms of faculty but the campus needs to be developed more in terms of the facilities being provided to the students like physical environment like canteen development otherwise if we talk about teaching pedagogy it adopts case study method which is the best way of understanding the practical situation and its good in terms of placements also.
