Remarks :

Overall college is good. It is sincere towards academics and gives equal value to extra curricular activities. College is very strict towards the students discipline and rules and regulations is quite high.

Entrance Preview :

I appeared for MHTCET and my score was 140 on the basis of which i took admission in the college. I choose this course because i am interested in this particular field and i want explore this course.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculam is very systematic. Our 100 marks are divided into 4 parts which consist of 2 unit test each of 15 marks,60 marks for end semester exam and 10 marks for inernal assessment.

Internships Opportunities :

Many software companies visited to campus like Infosys,wipro,oracle,Accenture, persistent. I did internship in persistent nagpur for 1 month.

Placement Experience :

Placement opportunities in our course is quite high. It can considered to be 90-95%. Recently wipro,Accenture and Infosys visied the campus and selected over 400 students. Infosys offered the package of 3.38 lac per annum. Wipro offered the package of 3.5 lac per annum. Oracle selected 4 students each with package of 6 lac per annum.

College Events :

College's cultural event is named as PRATISHRUTI. It is held in the month of January. This event is quite big and attracts a good crowd. It is roughly 1 week event. Technical event is POLARIS held on every month of December. It is an technical event organised under Computer society of India.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

One such scholarship is TFWS scholarship. In this scheme student who is financially weak and has good marks in MHTCET can apply for this scheme. 5% seats of each course is reserved for this scheme. Scheme is applicable to the colleges which work under DTE Maharashtra.

Campus Life :

Campus life is very cheerful. Gender ratio is also quite good and the crowd is diversified. College organize many extracurricular activities annually. Every courses manage their respective events annually. Student parties are not allowed in the campus. This activities are prohibited in the campus. A proper Code of Conduct is described which decides what is right and what is wrong.

Hostel Facilities :

We have a very good co-ordination with our seniors. And they are also very helpful in nature and co-operate with us whenever we need them.

Faculty :

Faculty is well experienced and teaching skills are also good.

LIFE at VIT

Placement Experience:

Students from the 7th semester onwards are eligible for campus placements. Core Biomedical companies like GE, Medtronics, biosense etc and IT companies like TCS, JIO, INFOSYS, CAPGEMINI etc Recruit Biomedical Engineers. Most Biomedical Students prefer Masters over placements. 80 percent of students from selected candidates get placed. Remarks:

Location is most likely a factor for me. It is closed to my home. And the another factor is that, Different colleges offer different programs with their curriculum. For example, as an Engineering student, I had a set of classes that I was required to take, with little deviation apart from electives.

I haven't experienced placements yet. but yes the deserving students get internship every year. The whole staff of this college is very nice.
