I scored all India rank 104 in cat examination and got the college through counseling. The required documents are the class 12 mark sheet, adder card, graduate certificate, birth certificate, and anti-ragging form.
Course Curriculum Overview :
field. The faculty is helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The average quality is good. The minimum requirement of being a professor at an IIM is a Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of 10 years experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in Iims, IITs, IISc, NITIE or IISERs. IIM Ahmedabad is currently revamping. It's a two-year PGP curriculum to make all students industry-ready.
Placement Experience :
The companies that come for recruitment keep changing year on year as per their recruiting needs, however, rest assured, if you have a good history of performance and you're hard-working you're likely to get placed where you like, be it an MNC or a booming start-up. Some of the regular recruiters were Reckitt Benckiser, Monsanto, Syngenta, Pepsico, Godrej, Mahindra, ConAgra, Nestle, etc. The placement process during summers was (naturally) a bit less stressful. Having said that summers were considered a great opportunity as companies generally offer PPO (pre-placement offers) or PPI (pre-placement interviews) to their respective interns based on their performance during the internship. If you happen to have this PPO/PPI, you have a chance at being placed directly in these companies without having to take part in the gruesome final placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My tuition fees was 899000 availed through scholarship but our total tuition fee, paid to be is Rs.23,00,000.The institution offered both the need-based scholarship program and the financial aid by offering easy education loans.
Campus Life :
Our campus is spread around 130 acres. Our college has three playgrounds and two auditoria. The hostel has well furnished and clean. Our college participates in international sports. Our college is so clean and hygienic. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled and equipped with enough classrooms, seminar rooms, medical facilities (dispensary and medical shops), sports facilities (volleyball, football, cricket, badminton, table tennis, basketball, frisbee, throwball, kabaddi, and more). Vikram Sarabhai Library is considered to be one of the biggest libraries in India which host books from all genres. Apart from the mess facility, the campus houses many restaurants which supply food of all kinds so that the students have a variety to choose from. The food quality is audited regularly which helps to maintain high quality.
Hostel Facilities :
Ali is given clean rooms. Shareable washrooms but proper hygiene are impeccable. No additional charges for rooms- are included in course fees. All the students get a compulsory hostel facility. 24/7 wifi connectivity, food delivery sick students are given rooms with attached washrooms and ACs. Guards and caretakers in each warden are very generous and helpful.
