Remarks :
University College of Engineering is a Government engineering College. The eligibility purely depends on caste quota and rank. For BC students they require below 20k rank to get any branch here and for OC students 10k below rank is applicable. The application forms, fees, and dates are uploaded to the college website. Reservation benefits etc., are explained while filling out the application form through the details are uploaded on the official college site too. The admission process is very simple if you have all documents. I don't feel any improvements are required in this admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Firstly, I choose this course by my passion for mechanical engineering. 90% of faculty on the campus are contract-based and 6:60 is the faculty: student ratio. The term exams are conducted as per JNTUK regulations without any problems. The toughness level of exams is high and one needs to study properly to crack the exams.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The main advantage of this college is the fees. Since it is a government college, so the fee is very reasonable at 10,000/ annum and semester fees are also very low (770 rupees/ semester) There is no hikes in the fees policy, and not much costly to study. Anyone can bear this college fee if they get a better rank in the EAMCET examination. JVD scholarship will be provided by the college and the entire annual fee is covered and no financial assistance is not given on campus.
Campus Life :
There are one or two branch-wise clubs without any proper maintenance. The college area is very small. So, no one shows that much interest in these club activities. For EEE students have the IEEE club which is the only active club in our college. No social groups or websites are maintained by the students.
