Remarks :
Candidates seeking admission to the BTech program need to appear in the EAMCET entrance examination. The eligibility of the course is, that students should get an EAMCET rank up to 61000 and should clear their 12th. Students should appear for counselling after EAMCET results with all the documents required for the admission process there is no application fee and dates will be announced by the board accordingly. Reservation benefit is obtained for OBC candidates where government give a scholarship of 35000 every year. No improvement I want to see in the admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As I was interested in the Automobile field, I chose Automobile Engineering for my bachelor's. The faculty and student ratio is maintained good, where every student gets benefitted. The qualification of the teaching staff is very good and but I think they need to teach some more practically from what they are teaching now. We have two mid semester and end semister exams where mid semister exams are held for every two and a half months and end semester exams are held every six months at the end of the semister. It is not that difficult to pass, but yes some of the subjects are difficult to pass.
Internships Opportunities :
College provides good internship opportunities. TATA, Mahindra, Jayam Automotives etc are the companies that offered internships and they offer assistant engineer roles to inspect and study under internships and without a stipend. We have to do a major project and a minor project by the end of the final year of bachelor's degree which contains credicts.
Placement Experience :
From the sixth semester, students become eligible for campus placements. MNCs like JPMC, Amazon, Deloitte, Capgemini, Cognizant, TCS etc and will hire upto 75% of students. Last time in our college the highest package is of 97 LPA and the average package is of 4 LPA. 75% of students get placements. Getting placed or higher studies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Compared to the other engineering colleges the cost of the study is high. Scholarship provided by the government helps to reduce some burden. We will get on-campus placements from the third year of our bachelor's, where will get some big MNCs to hire us on our campus which is very beneficial and we will get salary packages.
Campus Life :
We do have technical and annual fest in our college but they are not that interesting. The technical fest is conducted in starting month of the academic year and the annual fest is conducted at the end of the year in the second semester of the academic year. The availability of books and journals in the library is very good but they a very limited amount copies which is insufficient for the students. We have a projector, speaker, well maintained benches to study, and good ventilation in our class. encouragement for sports and extracurricular is good. Team NSS is a social club that is run by students on our campus.
