Remarks :

I am mothilal student of the IIT DELHI textile technology course I was a preparatory student who studied for one year at IIT Jodhpur and returned to study at IIT Delhi . As I was from the st category I got helped through reservation. But trust me IIT Delhi is the best college in India.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Well I didn't had any option other than this as I was selected for preparatory I get the course were seats are vacant but I wanted top course like computer science in IIT Delhi so I made a decision that let's take textile technology study for one year as 1st year is same for every course student and wanted to change my course based on 1st year CGPA Faculty is best and well experienced side they teach us by visualizing the concept not by forcing to remember Coming on term exams they depend upon students if you go through daily lectures and study daily then it's just cake walk

Class Size : 99Course Fees : INR 53000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Well, I'm still not eligible for an internship but my seniors are they did an internship in companies like Google and etc some get paid and some get only experience. They take our help in completing some projects and teach us how to cope with our work schedule.

Placement Experience :

From 3 years of b.tech itself, the student is eligible for placements but there is a high chance that the student gets a job in the 4th year Many tech companies like Google, Microsoft, Tech Mahindra and etc companies come to hire students from campus. The highest package is 2cr per annum 100 % of students get placement. My plan is to study m.tech after completing b.tech

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As an st student I have free tuition fees but have to pay for mess and hostel which is 53000. But whereas other category students have to pay 2.5 lakh per annum But you can get a scholarship by applying on the official website.

Campus Life :

Cultural events 1. RENDEZVOUS (Oct) 2. SPORT TECH (MARCH) 3.SPERANZA (sep) Tech fest There are many journals in the library of IIT Delhi and every book is available there Coming on amenities in the classroom we have AC classrooms big benches where we all can make ourselves better. Every type of sports facility is in IIT Delhi indoor and outdoor and we have competition in every type of sport it is very enjoyable.

Good for money not for life

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. In 2024 the highest package till now is 88L per annum and the median package is around 18L per annum.. On campus are good and also off campus placements are also focused. Which is good point!

Unfiltered Truth

Placement Experience:

For 4yr courses like btech students of 7th semester become eligible for campus placements. Tcs, ambuja, mahindra tech and etc.. Companies visited and they made decent number of offers. Highest package is 25 lakhs which offered by amazon. Lowest package is 1.70 lakhs offered by tcs. Percentage of students getting placements is 30%. I wanna join indian army so I will appear for defense exams after the degree

Dilemma choosing NSUT? Here the analysis

Placement Experience:

Usually the placement session starts in the beginning of the 4th year when the recruiters start coming however some people get PPOs even in the end of 3rd year. How the number of on campus internship is quite less of around 100-200 including all three campuses of NSUT. As of now the a total of 457 companies visited for on campus placements and 1400+ offers were given out of 2500 students in the yr 2023 published by the College administration. The highest package offered was 87 lpa and the average package was around 8-10lpa overall. The placement percentage would be around 60-70% overall but talking about my own ICE branch it had a fantastic percentage of 97%. My plans after getting degree is to getting into either a tech MNC or into a core semiconductor company like Qualcomm, Foxconn, etc.

My experience at DTU

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are good at DTU. Average package in 2023 was 25 LPA. Highest package was 82 LPA for BTech and 51 LPA for MTech. More than 160 companies visited DTU in 2023. Around 91 percent student were placed.

IIT-D review

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I am interested in mechanicals. There are few courses in which more than one branch studies so more number of students otherwise 70-80 students per faculty. Faculties are well qualified done masters from foreign universities. Some faculties use slides others use chalk and board. There are minors(mid-sem) and majors(end-sem). Other than that there are quizzes ~4 per semester per course.
