Entrance Preview :

I always had inclination towards microbiology so opted for B.Sc. Microbiology. My PCB score was good so easily got admission.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Curriculum was given by University itself and it was good. Learning was good, all nitty-gritty of the subject has been covered. lectures were very much informative and interactive to understand all the principles of Microbiology. We used to have mid term exam which was very helpful for preparation of final university exams. Laboratories were fully equiped.

College Events :

We used to celebrate annual gatherings which includes events like dance competition, mime, rangoli and other arts competition. Then they used to arrange cricket matches within different classes. There were many intercollegiate competitions held for students as well as for teachers.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No there is no provision for this. This is not at all expensive college. They dont run it for money. So fees are manageable for normal middle class student.

Campus Life :

Campus life is depend on your company of friends. I had very enthusiastic group of friends so enjoyed every bit of my college life. There is annual gathering which is very enjoyable. Also, they organise cricket matches which was my favourite time spent in college for 3 years of tenure.

Alumni/Alumna :

Senior's were very helpful in studies, providing notes, guideing in all aspects. Lecturers are highly educated.

Exam Structure :

Exams are cinducted by Univesity annually. However college conducts mid term exams. Day at college was very hectic. Practicals used to run very long and tedious. Lectures one can bunk but selective. There was no escape for hard work. All the laboratories were fully equiped with all modern equipments.

Faculty :

Faculty for each subject was fabulous. They were very knowledgeable. Alll Head of the Department were PHD having in depth knowledge about the subject. All lecturer were very friendly and hard working.

Placement Experience:

Placement is not that good. Overall the average placement is only about 4,00,000 per year. And campus placement are there but it won't provide you high paying jobs you'll have to do that on your own. So focus more on personal skills

Placement Experience:

As I am in second year I don't have that much of idea about the placement but there are very good placements for the printing and intc branch in this college. There I will see near they got the very good packages for this branches and along with CS IT branches they got 40 to 50 lakh packages. Also the college provides the interview sessions and the placement training programs in that the experts come and give training to the students for placement programs. There are various students that are placed in with us countries like Japan Germany's and they are working in ITI and various professions.

Campus placement offered is good for courses surrounding IT domain. Computer and IT department get an average CTC of 10 lpa whereas ENTC dept has avg CTC of 6-7 lpa. The college will state 100% placement but it is applicable only for eligible candidates.

Placement Experience:

I have also got nearly three placements. Currently, I am working in Accenture with a package of 6.5 lpa. I have experienced a decent placement process which was very systematic in that every or each of the students can get placed. For placements, SKNCOE is the best in Maharashtra.
