Takshashila Mahavidyalaya was established in 1984. It was founded under the auspices of Shri Dadasaheb Gawai Charitable Trust, Amravati. Keeping in mind the goals laid down by the great visionary Dr BR Ambedkar, the trust aims to provide higher education to all students from socially and economically backward classes. The trust runs almost 40 institutes from primary schools to colleges and are known to provide qualitative and invaluable service in the field of Education.
Takshashila Mahavidyalaya has sufficient infrastructure and experienced staff which aid in the overall development of students. The institute offers numerous courses including BA, BBA, MCom, BCA, BSc, and so on.
