Gautam Buddha University Review for BCA

Remarks :

For admission to GBU, you need to pass the GBU entrance exam test and you must have 50% in 12th you can apply for the entrance test and application process directly from GBU official website www.gbu.ac.in. The fees structure varies from course to course in my case BCA fees is 25500 per semester and 40000 for the hostel and 30000 for the mess. Note that the fees for courses may vary as it increases year by year so check the brochure for exact fees. And if you are sc/st student you got a discount of 50% on academic fees. So it's great to deal with SC/ST students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

2 exams per semester mid sem for 15 marks and end sem for 70 marks. If you study well it's not too hard to score well. Good faculty and very supportive teachers excellent infrastructure best part of this university is infrastructure.

Placement Experience :

You can apply for an interview in the last year of your courses and the average placement of ICT department is 70 to 80% and the Avery salary for my course BCA is 4 lakhs which is not bad just after BCA good to see that.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are few courses which are really more expensive as compared to other colleges and due to increasing fees, every year for new students become more expensive otherwise it's okay. There is no scholarship from University you have only option Is the UP Government scholarship scheme.

Campus Life :

There are many social groups and cultural clubs run by students and they also organise different fests and cultural club activities, competitions all over the year good to see that really interesting.

Hostel Facilities :

You have no option to opt for room outside the university as it's fully residential university it's compulsory to OTP for thier hostels so all students studying in the university as living in university hostels. Hostels are single sitted and excellent

Placement Experience:

The admission process at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT) varies depending on the course and program: B Tech and 5-year Integrated B Tech + M Tech Admission is based on the JEE rank or score. For Biology-based B Tech programs, half of the seats are allotted based on JEE rank, and the other half are based on 12th grade merit. Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) Admission is based on merit in the JIIT-UGET, a computer-based test that covers Mathematics, Physics, and English. Candidates with 75% or more in these subjects in their 10+2 exam can get direct admission. Admission can also be based on merit in the CUET (UG) exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Pursuing BCA is a great think like anyone can get a high paid job and coding is just a wow think. It gives you enthusiasm to make more and more progress for you career. However skills are more important than degree for this course but degree also matters.

I am a student of BCA and my purpose of taking this course is only for having some technical knowledge for our upcoming future which is is a fully Digital time. My plans after getting a degree is go for a government job I do this graduation only for getting a graduation degree to apply for any type of government job. There are many types of internship providing company comes to this college just like HCL, Vodafone, Airtel ,Infosys, whirlpool etc. they provide the internship programs to all those students who are interested in internship and also pay them money for their internship work by those companies this companies also help the student to learn the industrial works and help them to develop their skills for upcoming placement programs for the students in their final year. Almost a half of the class strength get there internship opportunity in this college.

Placement is up to you. If you score well then you get the internship. But most of the students from our college applied for off campus placement. There is no lack of jobs in Noida so students have advantages to be in this metropolitan city.

They said that they provide 100% placement but in reality depends on the student. Placement in MBA courses is a hundred percent in reality but in BCA and BBA there is a low placement rate. The marks of students are also under 75%. In my batch, the percentage of the 1st semester goes to 75.6%.
