One can get admitted through kcet comedk And management. One can avail benefits of reservations such as NCC, Snq, and other sc st. One can get the details regarding the admission from the online portal and from the respective office.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Rapid advancement in the field of electronics and communication is improving the common man's life. ECE is one of the largest departments in the institution consisting of a total of 650 students and an adequate number of teaching facilities with one area like communication Power electronics digital signal processing and embedded systems. A student will have to write 2 internals and a term examination. Questions are from the CBCS syllabus.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 150000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid :

After becoming an autonomous institution the fee for the respective courses are hiked. Though the fees for kcet remains the same and may get increased in the upcoming years. Fees for kcet is around 96 to 100k. Hostel fees may vary. Scholarships are provided for meritorious students.

Campus Life :

The flavour of cultural activities of Gat are introduced to students from the time of induction into the campus. A glimpse into the cultural extravaganza that can be truly experienced on every ethnic and rajyotsava day celebration. The institution has an excellent sports facility to promote and increase sports for it students as part of development activity playground equipment for outdoor and indoor game facilities are available for meeting the enthusiasm of such students and faculty.

A Brief Review of My College (New Horizon College of Engineering)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.

Experience at new horizon.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester onwards students are eligible for the placement. Alots of companies like VISA,IBM,Accenture etc2 visited our college. The highest package recorded as of 2023 was from VISA offering 32.2 lakhs. 90 percent of the students get placed. After I get my degree I will work for awhile in the corporate world and starting up my own business on the side.

Experience through words

Placement Experience:

Many top MNC's come to the college. Recently the placement opportunities has increased when compared to our batchs.Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, SLK, Mphasis etc had given us the opportunity. The average package offer was 3.5lpa or 4lpa. The highest package known to me was 10lpa for a CS student not for us. The placements begins either at the end of 6th sem or in the beginning of 7th sem. Almost 60-70% of us were placed by the end of graduation but due to recession the onboarding was very late. Waited for more than a year to get onboarded.
