Entrance Preview :

The admission process in our college is simple, one can join our college by annauniversity (govt) conselling or by any competitive exam, There is no interview in our college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course structure was very good and mostly it is based on research and faculty members well educated in their subjects,

Internships Opportunities :

most of the IT companys in INDIA visit our college, in core for ece, mech and eee also visit our campus

Placement Experience :

the placement is an easy task, mainly depend on your knowledge, except the students who are preparing for the higher studies, most of the students are placed in the companies

College Events :

technical - every department in our college conduct symposium, the symposium may even upto 3 days every year in our college we have cultural day, many vip's are invited as the chief guest

Fee Structure And Facilities :

our college hold their name in the lowest rental college room rent (for year) =RS.200electricity bill (for year)= rs.250 onlywe have only, good south indian food heremonthly mess bill around RS 1500 (dividing system)

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

yes, government scholarship at rs.9000sc cast scholarship -rs.8000other scholarship are also available, which is enough to pay the fees !

Campus Life :

mostly the men and women are equal in strength, every department has their own (min 5) laboratory which is well equipped,athletics, hockey, cricket, hand ball, kho kho, khabadi, vollyball, football, basket ball, tennis,shuttle, gym, and all the indoor games are available herether are many clubs are available in our college, which conduct debate and other extracurricular activities.

Alumni/Alumna :

there is no ragging in our collegeindia's strongest alumni is only in our collegethey have spend more than 2 crores only for our collegeour college was now celebrating platinum jubilee !!!

Students who pursuing five and sixth semesters onwards are eligible to attend the placements and internship. Mostly the IT companies are visited frequently and core companies are low. The Highest package is 9LPA. The percentage of college placement is 78 percent. I planned to make higher studies after my degree.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
