Remarks :

The admissions in KGI, Kanpur can be taken through state entrance exams results and allotment and management quota as well. For admissions in B.tech, one should secure at least 50% with a science stream in class 12. Other admission-related entries are followed by reservation-based relaxations. For admission forms and other details, one needs to contact the admission cell of the institution.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I wanted to be an engineer, therefore opted to pursue B.Tech in the electronics and communication branch. The ratio of faculty to students was standard and more approachable. Most of the faculty at my time was Ph.D. or pursuing M.tech. and Ph.D. The faculty was well experienced in teaching and owned rich industrial experiences which could foster the students to not only excel in academics but also manage to build work ethics from college times. Almost every month sessional tests weekly or bi-weekly class tests, pre-university exams were conducted to review academics.

Placement Experience :

The students from the first year are introduced to Personality Development Programs, which every year is improvised to prepare students for pre-placement requisites and post-college work ethics. Students are offered placements from the 4th year / final year. The placement cell is present in the college which coordinates with students and companies for placement processes. A few companies that visited KGI, Kanpur in 2015 were HCL, Compro technologies, SGS Technomech, Hero motocorp, etc. the students placed were about 80-90%

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees hikes of college were purely dependent on university recommendations i.e. AKTU, Lucknow. I didn't avail any scholarships or any financial assistance. I was placed in SGS Technomech as getting -Site Engineer. The offered package was 1.8LPA. But due to my own circumstances, I didn't join the company.

Campus Life :

Every year an inter-college Tech Fest named INCEPTION was organized at the college campus coordinated by the students of the college. This was to develop team spirits and leadership qualities among the students. The college also has a wide range of books and journals available in the college library. These are available for students at any time and are helpful to not only excel in academics but also to stay aware of world affairs. The college campus has its auditorium, open-air theatre, canteens, and mess, in-campus hostel facilities, and gymnasium open to all students of the institution.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students can start getting placement if they had done an internship with any company. Otherwise, in the 7th and 8th semesters, most of the students get the placement. Many renowned companies come and offer jobs in college. About 70 percent of the students get the placement.

Placement Experience:

More specifically if I am talking about placement is that if you want to get good placements in dei that you must maintain your sgpa at least 8 points for you to appear in the placement cell. There are many companies visited in college like torrent power for electrical branch and other for their respective branches. Around 60% of students get their placements through college and it also depends on students' ability and skills. Since I am in the 4th semester so yes from 3rd year students get their training or internship through college to students with good grades. So you must have to maintain at least 8 sgpa for better placements.

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college have been great so far. All the major companies and tech giants like Google, Microsoft, Adobe, AWS, DELL, etc came for placements this year. The average package this year for BTECH students was 8.6 lakhs per annum. Also, the highest package so far has been 44 lakhs p.a. Almost all students are placed with good packages so it is an ideal choice to choose Bennett University for higher education.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in GCET, Although they vary from time to time. For placements, students are eligible from the 7th Sem. Companies like Direct-I, Samsung, Amazon, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, TCS, etc. all visited the campus. The highest package I now am 21LPA buy it can be more. And except recession 60-70%, people are placed. Rest it all depends on students as well.
