Entrance Preview :

I entered through Management Quota. The admission process took a day. After I paid the fees and the management quota price, they asked me to fill the details and completed the admission process.

Placement Experience :

The college provides ample job opportunities for its students. Some of the companies that notably come to this campus include TCS, Cognizant, Maveric, HP, Nokia, Qualcomm, Samsung and others. There is a 90% and above placement record that is consistently followed by the college. This is owing to the fact that the college is much focussed on Academics.

College Events :

There is not much to tell about College Festivals. There are annual events that occur every year. The college is also a place where many other sports events, and technical fiestas run. Each department conducts its own Symposiums that add values to the students as well as their peers from other colleges.

Average college but a good place to study on your own

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Students who pursuing five and sixth semesters onwards are eligible to attend the placements and internship. Mostly the IT companies are visited frequently and core companies are low. Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
