Remarks :
LPU has a very active placement cell and each year almost 80-85% of students get placed in good companies. Top IT companies like Microsoft, Flipkart, Infosys, Wipro visit the campus for placement. The only demerit is that the placement is good only for the CS and IT students and not for core branches. It can increase admission percentage by decreasing their course fees per year.
Course Curriculum Overview :
LIKES:- Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable about the subjects which they are teaching us and the quality of teaching is good. Teachers in our college are great, qualified and knowledgeable, But some teachers are not great to that level. The course curriculum is having much of things to study, which makes students industry-ready. The syllabus of the course is well designed so that students can learn everything in an effective manner and have a good knowledge about that particular subject. Faculty members in our college are very helpful and always in an attempt to make students understand things easily. The faculty here are well qualified, and as they are at least postgraduate and some of them are pursuing a doctorate and well as they have a great experience in teaching. The teaching here is mostly done by exposing students to the modern world by presentations, encouraging students for class participation.
Internships Opportunities :
The highest package offered during LPU placements 2021 was INR 42 LPA in the Engineering discipline whereas the highest packages offered in the Management and Hospitality disciplines during Lovely Professional University Jalandhar placements 2021 were INR 21 LPA and INR 32 LPA, respectively. Established in 2005, Lovely Professional University (LPU) is a private university located in Jalandhar, Punjab. Approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC), LPU is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). In 2021, Lovely Professional University was ranked 37, 62, 66 and 81 under Management, University, Engineering and Overall categories, respectively, by the NIRF 2021. Over the years, LPU has collaborated and signed MoUs with a number of top companies across India and abroad to provide industry immersion facilities to its students. A few of the top organisations include Google, BOSCH, Microsoft, DELL EMC, CISCO, Intel, WMware, SmurAgro and Cadence. Placements are good but the students are not getting placed in core companies

Top roles like software development engineer, data scientist, analyst engineer, back and front end developer are offered to the students.Students need to work upon their own skills and knowledge in order to grab a good placement in a reputed company at a negotiable package.Top recruiting companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Flipkart, Synopsys, Vistara, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc., visit our college for placements.Apart from final placement, many students were hired for internship opportunities. Placements are very good at LPU, many career growth opportunities are there, and many well-reputed international companies visit the university for the placements and offers good packages.Companies like Cognizant, Wipro, HCl, etc., visit this college and give a good chance to students so that students can get a chance to be placed.The placement of our college is not bad, and they give the other best eefforts to place the student in the best organisation.Placements are good but the students are not getting placed in core companies
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Placements should be improved, and this college does over student intake for money and fails to deliver quality knowledge. Scholarship like LPUNEST, Sportspersons, Defence criteria, Lower Caste, PwD candidate ect ect..... LPUNEST: (LPU National Entrance & Scholarship Test) Scholarship for a specific Programme depends on Performance in LPUNEST. LPUNEST score more than or equal to Category I cut-off • LPUNEST score more than or equal to Category II cut-off • LPUNEST score more than or equal to Category III cut-off For Diploma (After 10th) in Business Administration and Medical Lab. Technology programmes, All B.Tech. Programmes (Including Hons. and Lateral Entry except B.Tech. Scholarship Percentage for Hons./ Integrated Programmes will be same as corresponding regular prrogramme basis of Performance in LPUNEST (Ph.D.) The categories of scholarship are based upon performance in LPUNEST (Ph.D.) The cut-off for each category will be announced along with the result of respective schedule.
Campus Life :
LIKES:- The entire campus including the classrooms, labs, library, and the hostel has high-speed Wi-Fi. All the labs and classrooms are well maintained with good equipment, and LPU has a very big library equipped with lots of books required, enough to study. Our college has great hostel infrastructure, different sharing rooms with attached washrooms, mess, canteen, open gym in park and badminton court inside the hostel. Good quality of the food is available in our mess and canteens. Our library is very big, and it is really good from which, we can have any number of books. Infrastructure facilities inside the LPU campus is very good. Sports and games are much in the university, and they provide you with a vast ground for playing cricket, a football ground, tennis ground, basketball courts, etc. DISLIKES- The hostels are really good in condition, but the quality of mess food is not much good. Hostel Facilities :
Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar hostels are Wi-Fi enabled, they have both AC and Non-AC rooms available.
