Remarks :
You have to first fill the NMAT form. The cut-off is 230 score. After clearing the same, you will be shortlisted and elligible for WAT PI round. Both these rounds happen on 1 day itself. WAT topics are given on the spot and are moderate in level. PI round happens on the same day, and the questions asked are easy and staright forward. No extra preparation is required for them.
Course Curriculum Overview :
MBA from NMIMS Bangalore, is an emerging course and is gaining momentum in the B school segment. The college's rank is also constantly improving every year. There are 50 students per faculty, usually. The faculty guides are qualified and professional and teach via case studies in an effective manner. End term exams happen, smoothly without problems.
Internships Opportunities :
SIP's are also given to all candidates. The highest stipend is Rs 85,000 per month and the average is Rs 20,000 per month. Some of the major companies come here for SIP's including Amul, Britannia, CRISIL, DELL, Honeywell, Tally, Tommy Hilfiger, etc.
Placement Experience :
The placements are 100% guaranteed. The average package is 10.85 lakhs per annum, and highest is 18 lakhs per annum. Around 64 companies come every year for final placements. IT is the top industry with 51% recruiters, followed by BFSI (19%), FMCG (14%) and consulting (8%). Top recruiters for marketing field include accenture, infosys, IDFC first, etc, Crisil, Dell, EY, KPMG for Finance, and Oracle, Learning Mate, EY, for HR.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Per year's fees are Rs 8,96,000. The cost to study is decent, and ROI is also above industry standards for normal B schools in the country. Scholarships for top academic performers is also a normal thing.
Campus Life :
There are 2 major fests, several other small events, and competitions that happen every month. There are a lot of clubs, committees, and cells. They range from finance clubs to Marketing cell, to alumini relations cell. There are also talent-based clubs like dramatics club, fashion club, dance club, etc.
Interview Experience :
WAT topic is moderate and based on either general knowledge, current issues or normal business IQ. PI questions are directed at your personality and easy to answer. Few technical questions based on your academic background are also asked, and one doesn't need to stress too much about them.
