Remarks :

I am pursuing Btech in Computer Science at Jklu. Overall the course is good. All courses are based on project-based learning. Jklu follows Olin college of engineering's teaching method. Also, we had the semester exchange programs here with the help of which we can spend 1-2 semesters at iit's ,iii'ts, and also foreign exchange programs

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose JKLU because I got many positive reviews from graduated students and they are highly satisfied here. Faculties here are highly qualified and most cooperative. Courses are structured based on Olin college of engineering. End terms here are the most difficult ones.

Class Size : 150Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Jk lakshmipat provides various internship opportunities in the 3rd and 4th years which are paid under different job roles. Based on individual interest one can apply in that. At JKLU we do different projects also which help in placement and internships.

Placement Experience :

The placements here are good. JKLU assures 100% placements and average packages, the highest packages are also a good amount here.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees for the Btech Computer Science branch are 96000 per semester but you also scholarship facility. Scholarship policies for the first year are different and from the 2nd year onwards if you get a 9 above cgpa in the previous year you get a 75% scholarship.

Campus Life :

The library facility is best here. Many journals, books are available here. Also, there are two fests happening annually Sabrang(cultural and tech fest), Spardha(sports fest). There are a total of 14 student-driven clubs available which conducts many events so life at the campus is too good here.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility is good we have a flat system for girls hostel. study table, book shelf, door mat, bed are provided in a room. Food quality is too good. Next week is already provided to us in advance. Also, food in mess is decided by mess committe which consists of student and faculty both.

Hostel Fee : INR 113000 per year

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.

MY CURAJ

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course I am studying right now is biomedical engineering, this course is not that famous among engineering students, but this course a lot of power, it is different from any other engineering courses, I found this course very interesting and in the upcoming years this course is gonna be a masterpiece says my teachers. The curriculum certainly helds a lot of workshops which help students interact with the teachers and each other and increase there communication skill and analytical thinking, they give students the opportunity to organise the events to boost up there confidence and prepare them for real world. I would suggest to introduce more interdisciplinary courses such as data science with humanities or environmental science with policy studies. The frequency is like there are 2 continuous assessment per semester and end semester examination at the end of the semester, I think it's quite good the internal assessment helps learn the difficulty of the course.

Companies started visiting campus and hiring students from the 7th semester. Many companies like Infosys, Walmart, Cisco, Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, and Wipro come every year to hire students from CS, IT, and other BTech branches. Placement Experience:

JECRC provides a lot of opportunities but it is totally us how we grab those opportunities. This year over 2000+ students got campus placements and the companies who took our students were Amazon, Cisco ISRO TCS, etc. Many students were placed in Amazon with 44 LPA which was a great achievement for JECRC.
