Remarks :
Eligibility of the course is you can be dentist, medical superviser, and you also do master degree after this course. It is course of total 5 years (4 years study and 1 year internship). we Need to apply online first by selecting collages and courses. There is several rounds on datd to date. in each round result publishes on website. Result will show you are eligible for which which collages. You need to choose from those collages and apply offline in collage with ssc, hsc, neet marksheet with enrollment number, l.c. and if you availed any quota you need caste certificate Too. There is basic details you need to fill in collage you choosed. There is 10-15% seats are reserved for sc/st/obc. In admission process is good there is nothing to be added for improvement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I did choosed this course because i wanted to be a dentist. and there is wide job opportunities available in this course. Student ratio Of boys and girls is 40-60 approximately Faculty staff is so big and helpful towards students. Professors are well qualified but Teaching method isn't really good in few subjects also 110 students so professors can't focus on individual students. Overall its ok. Term exams are yearly annual exam. There is no semester system. It is hard to pass per year because syllabus is so lengthy and subjects are hard. You need to prepare well to pass.
Internships Opportunities :
We can do internship in any medical dental collage we want in our state.or we can do intetship in our collage too. It doesn't make difference in stipend. Its fixed 12000 rupees per month. Projects are different subject wise. like making artificial tooths, ciment filling, instrument related projects. And as outcome we can do job as medical supervisor in dental field, General dentist doctor.
Placement Experience :
From first semester students because eligible for placements. There is Some companies (private dental hospitals) have visited our campus. among of them sai dental care and hospital offered 8-10 lakh per year packages. other than that other private clinics offered packages around 6-7 lakh per year. All the students gets the placement in our campus. My plans after getting the degree is to open my private dental clinic
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Annual fees is 210000 which is same for rest of years. There is extra 200 rupees lirbay fees and other 200-300 rupees sports fees. And exams fees are around 2000-3000 rupees. There is separate 53000 hosel fees. Post-matric and mysy scholarship available for students. If you are under sc/st quota you will get scholarship equal to annual fees. After competing 4 years there is 1 year internship. Where we get paid 10000-12000 rupees stipend(its changes year to year).
Campus Life :
There is mainly freshers and farewell fest held in our collage, other than that we celebrate some festivals in our campus. There is wide library available in our campus. books and reference books of every subjects available in Library. Classrooms are huge and in new condition with fine furniture, 4 fans, projector, white board etc. facilities are available in our classroom. We have 2-3 free lectures per week where we can play sports. There are cricket, volleyball, football etc sports we can play in our campus playground. Extra circular activities like collage level sport programs being held in our campus. There is whatsapp groups of student of each year students. Also we held medical health camps sometimes.
Hostel Facilities :
There is normal registration process. Just need to fill form with basic details. Hostel fees per year is 53000 rupees. Hostel isn't in good condition. Beds, locker and other furniture isn't Good enough. There is 2 toilet/bathroom available per floor. Hostel's meal quality is fine. And chief cooks really tasty food. There is good hygiene in our hostel. Pg/rented rooms are available in few distance to collage. But they are much costly. Around 3 to 4 thousand rupees per student even if you take room between 3 students. Other than that you need to buy food by urself and extra light bills. So hostel is better option.
Interview Experience :
Gd topics are mostly related to project works like tooth making, tooth measuring, other than that currently running covid-19 related topics. there is no such Interview questions because we got job directly as we open our own clinic etc. Test pattern containd 2, 5, 10, 15 marks questions and there is mock vaiva before the main annual exam. admission process is you need to apply online first and when you get eligible for collages, You need to apply offline in collage with ssc, hsc, neet marksheet with enrollment number, l.c. and if you availed any quota you need caste certificate Too. and fill it with basic details. I did prepared for these rounds by studying 3 to 5 hours per day.
