Remarks :
Our college includes a preuniversity course too before BTech. I joined here after my 10th. As I have scored 10GPA in my ssc I was eligible to join the college but as I was from a private school there were no reservations and for the reason, I have joined here in the global category. You can find the application form on the official website. I think the reservations are not fair in this criteria. But the primary aim of our college is to provide better and higher education for the poor people. But I think this is not happening.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course as I am interested and mad at it. The faculty-student ratio is like 1:50. The qualifications of some faculty were good and they are all rich in knowledge too. Most of them are highly experienced in their fields. But it's not the same with everyone. There will be two-semester exams being conducted every year. Passing them is easy if we study and do hard work. Pass percentage will be around 60% every year.
Internships Opportunities :
I don't have much knowledge about the Internships in our college. We ourselves can find some internships and do them. We'll get support from the faculty if we approach them even faculty to provide some internships in the 3-4 years.
Placement Experience :
From the sixth semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Wipro, Tech Mahindra, cognizant, HCl, etc visit our campus every year. As our college is far away from the city many companies don't visit here. Nearly 65 percent of the eligible students are placed in our college placements. We can get placed or do higher education or can start entrepreneur after getting a degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My fee was 1.4 lakh per year including everything like accommodation and education. Actually, I joined here in the global category so I need to pay for this. But commonly people who are selected generally will have to pay only 40k. Eligible candidates will also get a scholarship up to 30k. You can take student loans if necessary.
Campus Life :
The techfest in our college was being named as antahpragya. This happens every year in the months of January to February for 3-4 days. But now as of covid, we are not conducting it since 2years. There is a central library and a digital library in our college which is so attention-grabbing one. There are extracurricular activities being held and even sports clubs to are there. Interested candidates can go ahead with their fields and self-interests. There are many websites that are being run by our students like RSI(rgukt student ikkada) it's an Instagram page that is so popular for the students of rgukt.
Hostel Facilities :
No special fee for hostel facility and accommodation as it has been included in the fee much facilities are not being provided in the room. Wi-fi facility is available but we get the poor connection and even we face a shortage of water several times and coming to food menu is not so good and taste is average. Don't find any hygienic conditions in the cooking.
