Remarks :

The management is a little sloppy considering it's Uttar Pradesh. You have to know a way around them.

Entrance Preview :

I appeared for UP-CAT dental. I chose this college as it is one of the oldest in the state and has a very high patient input

Course Curriculum Overview :

There are about 17 subjects at undergraduate level 3 subjects in 1st, 2nd and 3rd year and 8 in the final year. They are according to the curriculum prescribed by the Dental Counil Of India. There are no electives in this field. All these are compulsory subjects. You have two additional preclinical subjects in the 2nd year.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes they have one year internship which is mandatory as per the norms of the dental council of india but there is no provision for paying stipends.

Placement Experience :

Earlier it was recognized by the agra university but Now it is a NAAC accredited university so the exams are regular now. Considering the subjects and practicals it's not exactly easy. It is very time demanding and require considerate efforts. Final year specially considering 8 subjects is the most hectic.

College Events :

There are a lot of CDE programs held on a monthly basis with very renouned speakers. There are a series of events that also take place along side like paper and poster presentations receiving in campus and off campus entries. There is an annual cultural event called rendezvous held every year now by and for the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure for 4 years was roughly about Rs. 2.25 lakh per annum. Which may differ now. You need to contact the authorities for appropriate details. The hostel charges are around 90,000 rs per annum which again may differ now. It's not exactly very less but slightly affordable than other colleges.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes they do for some students. Loans are individual preferences and they will assist you in that with the associated bank.

Campus Life :

There are more girls as compared to the number of boys in each class. They have regular sports matches in the campus. Students can demonstrate their talents in the annual cultural fests in college. There are a number of poster presentations and paper presentation competitions held along with a number of CDE programs on a monthly basis.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel food is average as compared to when you are home but definitely better than other hostels. The mess staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is shared by two students in undergraduate college. The rooms are big with provisions of a separate balcony per room. For post graduates they provide a single room.

Alumni/Alumna :

The seniors are very helpful specially during exams. There are very strict norms against ragging so usually it's very safe for freshers.

Faculty :

The faculty is good some of them even the best dentists in the city and state. They are very helpful and supportive. The faculty for the medical subjects are one of the top in state. They are very well qualified in their field of work. Some of them even PhD.

Placement Experience:

After graduation you get placements but package is not that high. For good packages obviously you'll have to do post graduation. However there are placements both after graduation and post graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Various aspects are there for me to take this course , one and very big aspect is that you'll be a doctor who will heal humanity and take proud in it. Curriculum has a big role to make us a great doctor as its challenging and force us to give our best. I only have one suggestion for the area of improvement and that is the involvement of more practical and 3D views on the topics so we can understand in depth. Per year we have 3 internals and final University exams , timing of the exam is of 3hours and the difficulty level is moderate, paper is made of what we are taught in the classes.
