Remarks :

The campus life was very fascinating. The students from different departments used to be friends with each other. The campus environment was very refreshing and soothing. The auditorium of college was well built. The fee structure of nominal and affordable. The scholarship programs were also available for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum of the course kept every student involved and busy. But it was not pressurizing. The topics are of great importance. Exams were held after every semester. The curriculum was well structured with new changes. Faculty members were highly motivating and encouraging. Every teacher used to be involved with the students. They used to tell us the method for better learning. My grades were improved with the help of the teachers.

Placement Experience :

The recruiting sectors in BDS are dental clinics, hospitals, dental research centre, dental officer or territorial officer in a government sector. The job roles offered are surgeon, dental physician, dentist lecturer and the average salary offered is 6 LPA. The students have to do one year of mandatory internship for which the stipend ranges from 15,000 to 40,000 per month in government or private hospitals like Endolite, Ottobock, Apollo and Max hospital.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure of nominal and affordable. The scholarship programs were also available for the students. However, I never felt the need for it. Every student had to pay Rs.4.74 lakhs for this course. It was feasible for me. The fee structure of nominal and affordable.

Campus Life :

The cultural fest was the highlight of the college. Many talented used to visit our college during these days. I used to attend it with excitement. Also, there were seminars, group discussions etc for the growth of the students. We have an Annual sports meet were at the Jawaharlal Stadium, Chennai where the students participate and compete against each other in games like football, relay race, volleyball, throw-ball, Kabbadi, cricket etc. Cultural activities like dance competition, music festival, face painting, sculpture making, poster making competition, DJ night etc.

Placement Experience:

After graduation you get placements but package is not that high. For good packages obviously you'll have to do post graduation. However there are placements both after graduation and post graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Various aspects are there for me to take this course , one and very big aspect is that you'll be a doctor who will heal humanity and take proud in it. Curriculum has a big role to make us a great doctor as its challenging and force us to give our best. I only have one suggestion for the area of improvement and that is the involvement of more practical and 3D views on the topics so we can understand in depth. Per year we have 3 internals and final University exams , timing of the exam is of 3hours and the difficulty level is moderate, paper is made of what we are taught in the classes.

Remarks:

The college environment is good. The facilities provided here are also good. The problem with the college is that all focus is given on studies only. There are no extracurricular activities, not much sports. Overall it is a good college for pursing BDS.
