Remarks :

85% seats of this college are reserved for Assam students, students of Assam must pass class 10th and class 12th from Any school in Assam only otherwise they to have for 15% All India quota. Students must have at least 55% in the class 12th board exam. To be eligible for counselling students must qualify neet exam. I score 500 /720 in NEET and got to this college. The application form for counselling and admission is available on the official website of the director of medical education, Assam. As per government rules reservation is given to sc, st, obc, EWS students. This college is far away from the city.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course because my neet score was not enough to get to other good colleges. I want to be a doctor so I joined this college. The student's faculty ratio is around 125:30-40. All the faculty are doctors and they are very talented. They teach us on a projector in the classroom. This college conducts a semester exam every 3-5months, and at the end of the session, they conduct University which. To pass in university exam we need at least 50 % marks.

Class Size : 125Course Fees : INR 23000 per year

Placement Experience :

We all have to do 1 year internship in our hospital after the 9th semester. The government provides a salary of around 32k per month. During internship time we have to do duty in all the departments like orthopaedics, paediatrics, surgery etc. After the completion of 1 year internship we all have to do 1 Year compulsory rural posting, we do get a salary during posting which is around 42k per month.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

College Fees for the course is RS23000 per year, mess dues are around 2000 per month, extra fees we have to pay like examination fees which cost around 4000, the cost of books and dresses are around 15000 per year. On an average total, it cost around 1 lakhs per year. For applying for scholarships we have to register on the national scholarship portal, depending on our eligibility everyone gets a different scholarship.

Campus Life :

The name of the annual fest is SYMPHYSIS. During college week they conduct various tournaments like TPL for cricket, football etc. Our library 8s very clean and have all the medical books, also it has every day newspaper, new magazines. The library is in a very silent place. Students to the library for self study purposes mainly.

Hostel Facilities :

Our hostel has single, double room facilities. The rooms are clean. Rooms are provided with a bed, mattress, pillow, almirah etc. Fans and lights are properly placed. In the mess every day we have a different menu, quality of food is good but not always. Registration of hostel is according to the neet UG state rank. Separate hostels are available for girls and boys. Nearby few rent rooms and pg are available.

MBBS in a Premier Institute

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose MBBs because it's a noble profession. A human being must serve people and society and it can be best done by being a doctor. That's why I chose MBBS. All faculties are NEET: PG qualified. Faculties are great experienced but few of them fail to deliver their knowledge fully but that's only a few. The faculty ratio is 1:20. The teaching method is mainly practical. Clinical exposure is given from 1st year itself. And for the theory part, there are smart classes available. The frequency of exams is high. More than twice a month you have to appear for an exam, may it be a semester or internal assessment or part completion test. Exams are not MCQ-based and the difficulty is moderate. A punctual study from starting makes it easy to pass any exam.

MBBS- a decision that changed my mind and thought process.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very good and faculties are very much helpful. I have chosen this course to serve the nation. There are at least 1 faculty is there for every 30 students. Exams are having a fixed schedule and they are usually conducted in that specific schedule only. Every faculty are MBBS+MS/MD. Every year in March our final exam used to conduct.

Doctors are real heroes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

According to new MCI guidelines our new course has been assigned. The teachers are very good. A lot of faculty are present . A large number of students are present. All the teachers are PG qualified. The teaching method is digital using slides. The term exams are normally held in time but during Covid times they had to be postponed. Faculties are very much helpful for the students.

There is the department of placement. They provide with great opportunities to its students. There are internships for the students to grow. Remarks:

Positive is that it's the best college of North East and founded by british man Dr John berry white. First X-Ray machine established in India in our college. Many sport person are also related to our college. Negative college is underestimate by government.
