Remarks :

Clearing the MAT exam or any other competitive exam is the first requirement. Eligibility for PGDM courses is that one needs to have a bachelor's degree. Submit your MAT score as well as other details on the website of the college. You will get a call by which your interview date will be set. Application forms can be found from the website as well in person from the college admission block. Application form was of 1000 rupees. Application dates normally starts by mid February.

Course Curriculum Overview :

NDIM provides dual specialization. I opted for Marketing and Operations & Supply chain management specialization. The first specialization has to be choosen from Marketing, HR or Finance only. Second specialization options are international business, Operations and business analytics. As I was from engineering background I choose marketing and operations combination. Even though the college is not big but classrooms are quite adequate. There are about 45-50 students in a classroom. Most of the faculty members are all well educated as well as have industry experience. College also has some good guest lecturers. One good thing about the college was that the college was able to adapt to the online mode very smoothly and our batch didn't have any gaps when the first lockdown was announced. Though the syllabus is changed regularly as per the industrial trends, exams and reviews can be improved further. We had semester wise exams with more weightage to internals than external.

Internships Opportunities :

A lot of internship opportunities are there for the sales and marketing field. Average stipends offered by them were about 5K - 10K max There were also companies that didn't offer any stipend. Some of the companies were Amazon - operations field, UAS International - inside sales profile ( no stipend); For finance Deloitte. And lot of other companies College also had live projects offered by various companies, usually for a period of two to three weeks. Companies are Colgate, Deloitte, Dabour

Placement Experience :

By second semester end students undergo their summer internship and from third semester itself students are eligible for placements. The company that comes with the best package is Amazon for about 15 laks per annum. They offer pre placement to the students alread were selected for summer internship. For finance field some good companies that come are Deloitte, KPMG. For marketing - Dabour, Marico, HUL They all offer packages of about 5-7 laks per annum Rest companies that come offer packages for about 2.5-4 laks per annum. Around 60-70 percent of students got placed. I got placement in V2 retail company in my fourth semester.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees (2020-2022) Year 1- 465000, Year 2- 465000 approx. Hostel fees is 8000 per month. There is around 5 percent hike in fees every year. There is no campus jobs available as such however students can join the placement club wherein they will be assisting the college in placement process. Those students part of the placement team will be able to have a good understanding about placement trends as well as get preference in getting short-listed to some good companies coming for placement drives. Loan assistance is available for students with financial concerns.

Campus Life :

Every semester there are guest lecturers and prominent people from the industry giving presentations. There are clubs and extracurricular activities are conducted by clubs. There is technical competition also conducted in college. College has good Library facilities. It doesn't have any sports facilities on campus, however, some sports programs are conducted out of campus. Every classroom consists of projectors for connecting laptops.

Interview Experience :

The admission process is considered three rounds. First was group discussions. The second and third were personal interview rounds. GD topics were about environment, health safety, and pros and cons of online mode of teaching. The first personal interview was taken by two teaching faculties. Questions were asked about personal background, bachelor's degree, why this course. The second interview round was taken by one nonteaching faculty( managing director) and a teaching faculty. Almost the same questions were repeated. To be honest, all the interview rounds are not that difficult, it's just done as a formality.

You're eligible for the campus placement from semester 3. I got a placement in a few companies like policy bazaar and Barclays but the salary is quite low offered by the companies. I opted for none of these companies and interviewed for many companies after completing my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose to do MBA as I did Bachelor's in business management from the same college and the next best alternative for me was to do a master's in the same field as it will give me enough good opportunities and specialization in the marketing field which I always wanted to pursue too. Most of the teachers are Ph.D. scholars and have great experience and knowledge. Though the teaching style of every teacher differs from one another. There is a total of 3 CES, 2 internals, and 1 external for each subject and we have 5 subjects in total.

Placement Experience:

Placement system is not like getting placement in a week time i.e. there is no concept of placement week here. But companies keep on coming throughout the year. Students generally get placed by the month of February. A number of companies like HUL, Bajaj, Wipro, TATA, ICICI, HDFC, etc visit the campus to recruit students. The package can go as high as 24 lacs for few companies, while the average is 10 lac generally.
