Remarks :

Filling out the University of Delhi's admission form first and then utilizing the application number to fill out the Jesus and Mary college's particular college form was the admission process. JMC accepts students from all quotas and has a Christian student reservation. The % cut-off varies from year to year. The cut-offs for Psychology honors are typically higher, and there is rarely a second list. Students who study psychology as one of their subjects in 11th and 12th grade receive a 1% bonus.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Our college's faculty is excellent, with the majority of instructors holding a doctorate and extensive expertise. Professors use a variety of teaching strategies. It is, for the most part, interactive. They give you a variety of examples to assist you to understand the principles.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The cost of Psychology Honors for a year is $16210. There are a few scholarships available for people who are financially disadvantaged as well as those who have excelled academically. Aside from fee reductions, student financial help, and the book bank program, the following scholarships are only for psychology honors students. The M. Sethuram Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of M. Sethuram. Scholarship in memory of Dr. Safia Ahmad

Campus Life :

The college's annual festival, known as MONTAGE, takes place in February each year. Catharsis, the psychology department's annual cultural event, takes place in October. The college also features smaller practical rooms, an amphitheater, a multi-purpose auditorium, a common room, a gym, a l-park, lockers, a café, a three-story library, and a large football field, among other amenities. Apart from college organizations like NSS, NCC, and JMCEP, there are a variety of student societies such as ECHO, Nrityanjali, Tarannum, Mudra, Kahkasha, Panorama, ENACTUS, and many others. The atmosphere is pleasant.

Placement Experience:

The Placement Cell of the college is very active. Students can avail themselves of the placement opportunities from the fifth semester. I have been selected as a content writer in the fifth semester. I was offered a 4.6 LPA in the esteemed company. More than 40 percent of students end up doing getting jobs. I have decided to earn some experience as a content writer and then apply for the MA journalism program.

Placement Experience:

For the courses like Architecture, Engineering, Law, Mass Communication, many big companies come for placements in Jamia. As my course is a Bachelors's subject under Arts, there aren't many placement opportunities. But I hope to pursue my Master in History after which I would try to get placed.

Placement Experience:

The placements for BA Program in particular are slightly lower as compared to other courses. Most students from the course opt for higher studies but the few who choose to sit for placements find it hard to land a job. Campus placements start in 5th semester and continue for the entire final year. A student is free to sit for as many companies as they like, as long as they meet the eligibility criteria like CGPA, course, etc. Most companies hire a maximum of 4 students owing to the small population of students at St. Stephen's. The highest package in 2021 was 18LPA and the average package is about 6 LPA-8 LPA.

Placement Experience:

Around 70% of the students get good campus placements, especially in the private sector. The average package for the students is 6,000,00 per annum. The highest package offered to the student varies between 25 lakhs to 35 lakhs. My plans are different as I want to pursue my higher education.

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is good. It has tie ups with reputed news channels. But in our course, the college does not provide internships, students have do it themselves and they have to prepare their own youtube channel for work.

The management is an equally hardworking and efficient team like the faculties. They maintain a good relationship with the students as well as with the teachers and are approachable for both the parties. Their functioning has ensured that the college runs smoothly in terms of presenting itself to others.

The college timings and the unprofessional conduct of many teachers and the office staff has made college an exhausting experience. There are no proper channels for conveying our complaints and suggestions.
