Remarks :

I applied for the University of Delhi. I chose Gargi college because of its education policy and academic record is great! There was no test, I got the college by my 12th mark. There is a different cutoff for different categories (approx 90-96%). At that time they were considered best of 4 subjects marks.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Gargi College is a girls' college. I chose it because of its great academic record. The faculty is very helpful and nice. Also, teachers help you alot in better learning and strict towards studies which help us to get good grades. Exams held timely and moderate exam levels.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 9500 per year

Placement Experience :

In 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. KPMG ,EY, WIPRO, AMAZON and so on conpanies visited. Not many students got placed less than 1/4 got placed. I opted for a master's degree so that I can pursue a professor's profession.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees are affordable (9000-10000 yearly). Campus placement is quite low. Less than 1/4 students got placed. Overall college is affordable and doesn't force anyone for any other type of financial activities.

Campus Life :

There is an annual fest 3 days long which is extremely good. Revire it is called. Also department fest also occur and allows everyone to take part in and win excited prizes. Also, Library is good you can find books easily when you need .extra curricular activities and sports activities are so good. Girls have to manage both studies and activities as well as teachers and mentors promotes students to be part of each & every activity and win prizes for our college. Nostalgic campus life one could ever have!

The students become eligible for campus placement from 3rd year and the companies that visit our campus are deloitte,kpmg india, kpmg global and pwc india, the highest package offered was 22.5lpa and the average package is 6lpa and around 85% students are usually getting placed, my plans after this degree is to pursue mba abroad

The reality of Choosing an Open Degree

Placement Experience:

From 3rd or 2nd year onwards maybe you'll be able to have do internships for placement opportunities. Like 40or 50% students gets placed .after getting this degree i may be going for IIM .So a course like bcom doesn't attract a high package.
