I choose this college because ,this college is in one of top ten agricultural University in the india. It has best infrastructure and best teaching staff and all. It is mother of all agricultural college in karnataka.

Internships Opportunities :

No, they will not give internship. But internship is given by the ICAR i.e indian council of agriculture research for students passing in their exam meritly.

Placement Experience :

One of drawback of the University and this agriculture course is the placements. Our college will give full time placements for agricultural engineering students, but for B.Sc agriculture students have to trouble a lot for job seeking. There is no placements by college for B.Sc agriculture students since output of is high.

College Events :

Cultural activities in our college are frequently happens. Every year college conducts college day function and fresher party. Whole college staffs and students rejoice During that function. Along with this Republic day ,Foundation day many more are celebrated. Near by 1000 people attend that functions mainly annual day including all staff of college.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Since our college is government college ,we will pay the fees less than private colleges. During admission ,i had payed the 17,000 rupees in first year first semester, then from second semester ,fees is same for every semester i.e rupees 10,000 for next 7 semester. That gives My fees for 1 year which has 2 semester will be 20,000.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes, our college will give some scholarships like general merit scholarship is one, which will be given for meritorious students who had good marks with the income limit ,which will benifit the low economical students who are good in study and amount will be 3500 rupees per student per year.

Campus Life :

Gender ratio in our college of students is 1: 1.2 that is for Ever 1 girl is present ,there is 1.2 number of boys. Both Student and teachers Association is present , it will be usefull for achieving of goals of student.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, our college has even alumni association. They will conduct the some programs during alumni association and they even giving free UPSC coaching for students who are interested in civil services. Since our college has completed 50 years , so many alumni get together are conducted in year.

Exam Structure :

Exam pattern has for one subject in one semester ,marks allotted is 100. 50 marks for internal exam and another 50 marks for external exam. Internal exam has 20 marks test + 10 marks practical record book + 15 marks for lab examination + 5 marks attendances. We should have the 80 percent attendances to attend the exam. External exam is writing exam which has both objective and subjective questions.

Admission :

During campus selection of first round in Common entrances test,i applied for this college and due to my ranks are good,i got this college in first round only. I made admission to this college on 28th june of 2014, During that time i submitted my all information about me i.e my PUC marks card, 10th marks card.

Faculty :

Since, our college is one of best teaching faculty in here is good. Most of teachers are ph.d holders in their subject. Teachers will be given job in this University after they complete the NET exam. Teachers are also good in teaching, they have full knowledge about their course. Most of teachers are student friendly.

Placement Experience:

Placements are rare because nobody is interested to do the job. Most students study for competitive exams. In the last year some practicals like raw, experimental learning, etc. are studied. Some personal development programs are conducted in the IDP scheme.

Placement Experience:

I have no idea about placements. Seniors are either pursuing a PhD, or they are working as JRF. I haven't heard that even one of our seniors has been placed in any company. Students are worried about their future. There is no job security in this university for M.Sc and MBB students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was more interested to learn about nature and the environment so I opted for this degree. Per class, we have 70 students and per pratical batch around 30-35. Involves both interactive board and practical lecturer-based teaching, practical is more often held on fields based on course. Almost 99% of faculty have pursued a Doctorate and PhDs. The semester-based system with one semester upto5-6 months .each semester has 2 internal exam ( 25/30 marks Midterm +20 marks practical with manual) and one external for 50 marks and attendance for 5 marks for each course. Courses are easy to pass if we update ourselves with classes and follow the mentioned syllabus and attend practicals regularly . Our institution has strict evaluation.

Placement Experience:

No campus placements. But good chance in jrf exam then to get pg admission. And we can write Agricultural officer exam, then we can write the bank exam and other exams like seed board and other boards. So we can qualify for the exam and get a job. And also private jobs available.

Admission:

For admission to the university I appeared in the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the University. After qualifying the common entrance test and getting my name in the merit list I was granted the admission in the B.Sc programme. After the grant of admission I was called to the campus for procedural formalities. Since it is one of the top Agriculture University in the country I opted for admission in it.

Placement Experience:

Placement rate of the university is nice. However, most of the student prepare for jobs in the government sector while others explore opportunities outside campus offers on their own. University provides internship on campus however one is allowed to to get the internship done on their own if they want.
