Remarks :

I applied for Indus Business Academy for the PGDM program and I choose this college because they offer good internship opportunities, as well as 100% placements and The companies like PWC, KPMG, Deloitte and they, offer good package. For admission the college accepts all types of entrance exams like CAT, MAT, XAT and the minimum cutoff is 50 percentile. If the student is qualified then the telephonic round is conducted by the college. In this round, the basic questions were asked related to personal details and academics. This round is conducted for testing the communication skills of the student. After that second round is conducted over skype, It is a technical round in this question related to the subject is asked and the knowledge of the student was tested. After that, a confirmation mail is received by the student regarding the selection.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Indus Business academy gives us opportunities to choose a dual specialization. I choose Marketing and Finance because the faculty of marketing and finance is very good and the placement of this specialization is good. The companies like Bata ,KPMG,Pwc,Deloitte etc come to the college for placements and provide good packages to the student . Every students get a mentor that means there is one mentor for every thirteen students .Therefore the ratio of faculty and student is 1:13. All the faculty members are highly qualified and have alteat 15 years of industry experience . The teaching method is very interactive and knowledgable. All session are filled with case studies and practical and quizzes are held regular basis . The examination held in every two months and the course is divided into mid sem and end sem . The examination is only clear if the student have attended the classes sincierly and it also require hard work .

The fees structure of the college is very decent and the ROI of the college is also good. The average package is 6.5LPA and the highest package is up to 15 LPA which is great according to the fees. There are many scholarships that the college offers. Campus Life :

The campus life of IBA is very positive, juggling many new experiences, new friends, new living situations, new activities, new classes. While a lot of new experiences are exciting and they can challenge your time management skills and academic adjustment. In short, I can say that this is very exciting, and enjoy the full journey. IBA conducted an annual fest which is named Achish and this is for 7 days. For extracurricular activities, IBA conducted Capstone Business Simulation Program, Kalakshetra (live management program) Visting industries and International study tours. IBA has a total of thirteen clubs and committees and these clubs and committees conduct fests and festivals like YMCC is a committee that takes care of each and every festival celebration and i3 committee has been made for placements and internships etc

Hostel Facilities :

Talking about Hostel facilities we have 2 hostels one for boys and another one for girls and these things are common in both the hostel's we have fan, bed, table, chair, wardrobe, small ground and washroom. The hostel rooms are clean and well maintain and the rooms are spacious. The hostel is very affordable and the registration process is very easy Talking about food then we got food four times every day and the menu changes every day and the food is good.

Interview Experience :

Indus Business Academy conducts two rounds of interviews, The first one is the introduction round in this round they basically check the communication skills and confidence level, and the questions were asked which were very easy like Introduce yourself, strengths and weaknesses, short term and long-term goals and academics details. The next round is the technical round and this round was basically based on testing the knowledge of the student on a particular field. The other criteria for admission were that the min percentile should be 50 in entrance exams. For the selection rounds, I studied the basics of accounts and worked on my communication skills

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum from the university is transferred by the teachers in a digestive manner with all relevant example , live scenarios, case study activities and much more. The exams on average come after 3 months of a semester commencing , the difficulty towards the exam itself is moderate.

Placement Experience:

Placement Cell is very hardworking and they do provide placement support for all specializations but most of the jobs that are offered are marketing or customer support roles so it's always encouraged to look for job opportunities through other sources as well.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are excellent in Indus Business Academy. Alot of good companies come to the college for the placement and almost all the student get placed in a good company. iIf the student has payed attention in the classes and the tasks assigned then getting into a company is not difficult. The students start getting placed soon after the completion of first year. Compainies like Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, Colgate, Bata , GT and other good companies come to the college every year for the placements every year. The average package offered by the companies is 6.5 CGPA and it may increase this year. The student placement is 100%. I have also been selected in Deloitte for tax profile.
