Malwa Institute Review

Remarks :

I haven't applied for any other college before this, one friend of mine suggested me to take admission here so I just took it. I haven't taken admission on any quota and the criteria for admission were nothing special just you have to be a PCM student and should have already 55% marks that are it. And no councelling session happens you just go and take admission that's it.

Course Curriculum Overview :

To be honest I just chose this course because there was a boom in the computer science stream in the market. You just go to any 12th pass out everyone is going to CS stream so I just took it on that basis. It was around 1 faculty for 70 students I guess. Most of the faculty were qualified and good in their respective subjects but also they were only interested to teach you only book's knowledge. We had midterms and term exams Midterms used to happen in 2 every month and terms in every 6 months i.e. Semester.

Placement Experience :

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placements and not much campus placement happens just a couple of companies have visited the college and that's it. The highest package was around 8.3 something for the role of the digital engineer in TCS and an average package is around 3.4 something. Around 40-55% of students have been placed through their own efforts. My plan is to do something of my own.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees I would say was okay but college used to fine students on very small things like they would fine students for not coming in uniform, not having 75% attendance, not completing assignments, and so on. I didn't get any job or financial assistance on campus nor any sort of scholarship.

Campus Life :

I guess Spandhan was the name of the annual and tech fest event and it used to happen in October or November month. The library is one big plus point of the college with great space and books. Classrooms were like all other normal classes nothing special just a blackboard and that's it not even a whiteboard there. Sports activities used to happen but not to a great extent, the ground is only for cricket and football and students can't play those sports too. There were some cells like the entrepreneur cell and the Rotaract club that were run by students.

Placement Experience:

Here placements come but very few children sit for placement, one has to give an exam, if the exam comes out from the college side, then the child sits on the placement, good open placement comes, so not every child can go here The highest placement is on the nose and the most average package has come here 3.4 likes

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite good in Jabalpur Engineering College. Students are eligible and can avail campus placement from their 7th semester onwards. There are some companies i would like to mention , TCS, Reliance Jio, IBM, Wipro, Collabera, TrueChip, Cognizant and some others. Some of them came for mass selection of students with good knowledge of their companies. The highest salary package of companies co.e in JEC are 7-8 LPA. The average salary packages are provided by companies is 3-5 LPA. Chances of getting selected in the campus placement are depends upon the students Strong hold on the subject and their course. So basically the chances of getting selected is around 30-40% . Students usually tend to have many dram after getting selected in campus placement. As per my plan, after getting a degree i will prone to learn new technology and present myself a position where i can give my all conceptual knowledge earned from College period and convert into practical knowledge.

Remarks:

If college will improvise the college placement ratio than that would be very helpful for all the students studying there.

Admission:

I have 60% above percentage in my 12th class so I was eligible to get admission in that college. The college is closer to my home also that's why I opted for that college. They took photocopy of all valid documents and first instalment of fee. they have there own bus facility and hostel as well which is suitable to all.
