Remarks :

The admission process in Mulund College of commerce was pretty smooth. The administration was very helpful to guide us with the steps. I did not avail of any quota and applied in the general category. For admission in BMS, the basic criteria are to have a 12th background in commerce, science or arts as this course welcomes students from all the 3 backgrounds. The 12th % requirement for admission is different for all the 3 streams depending upon the quota with commerce students requiring more percentage.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course because I wanted to be in a managerial position in a long run of my career. Also this course provides knowledge about the mangement function. The faculty member are highly qualified with most of them holding a PHD degree and guide the students properly during the course duration. Power point presentation was used for teaching. Term exams were held during november and march in the acdemic year. The difficulty level of the exams were moderate to hard. But I did not face many challenges as was taking feedbacks as and when required. Sometimes the faculty were not that helpful but the ration was very low.

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are offered depending on the field opted students, As I was a Finance student I got an internship in Aditya Birla with a stipend depending on the sales I made. Also, not all are offered the internship, so many students get an internship on their own.

Placement Experience :

Students are eligible for campus placments from second half of final year. Various companies visit the campus namely TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, Aditya Birla etc. Approx 70% students get placed every year with the hoghest salary offered 30,000 per month and lowest 17,000 per month. I have already graduated from MCC and enrolled in an Australian university.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees would hike every year with a difference of approx 2k-3k. For the entire course duration i.e 3 years I spent 60k. I did not get any scholarship as I was a general category student. I did not apply for on campus jobs as I wanted to study further. But there are a lot of companies visiting for campus placements such as TCS, Infosys, Aditya Birla, Delloite etc.

Campus Life :

Mulund college of commerce (MCC) does not have a big campus making it a disadvantage for students who are interested to have a huge campus. The college is just a ground surrounder by the college building on 3 sides. BMS department fest was called INSPIRA and it is held in the month of September and the college annual fest is called SPECTRUM and it is held in the month of December every year. The college Library is full of resources needed for any students and the stock is updated twice a year. The classroom has basic amenities such as a bench for students, PPT set up etc. The campus provided access to various indoor and outdoor sports such as cricket, football, badminton, table tennis, chess, basketball, volleyball, hockey etc.

MIT WPU offers on campus placements to its students. Students are eligible for placements from their final year. Reputed companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Wipro, and more hire students from MIT WPU every year. The highest package for BBA is 12 LPA and the average package is 6 LPA. Most students are able to secure placements and many of them get good packages.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1. The reason I choose this stream I also don't know currently but yeah this course helped me a lot. I didn't knew anything about the course I thought about taking it and later I took it . Nothing like I saw any specific aspects of the curriculum but whoever is going to join see carefully what are the aspects in the course. 2. As I said I choose this randomly it made me understood many things the business world , money flows , profit loss in real world and many business, financial and corporate aspects .. I learned a lot by choosing BBA. 3. I think the course should have the real time implementation in their syllabus. More new things in this fast changing world .New aspects as the students will know the real time knowledge about those aspects. 4. Time used to be like 8 am to 10 am ( sem exams ). I think the timing can be shifted to 9 am so that it will be more convenient for students who live far away from college . And difficulty level.. see it depends upon students.

The exams are held on a regular basis. The difficulty level of these exams is easy to medium. One can choose from several specialisation subjects so that they can learn the subject of their interest. The teaching method involves using books and power point presentation.

Placement Experience:

Students from the fifth semester become eligible for the final placements. Many companies come to the college for campus placements, some of them are Deloitte, Infosys, tresvista, byjus, toppers.com, Wipro, Indigo, etc. Generally, packages offered by the companies range from 1 lakh to 10 lakhs. The highest package was 28 lakhs offered by Deloitte in the year 2020-2021. 50-60% of students get placed every year. Some go for placements and some for higher studies. I am also planning to go for MBA.
