Remarks :

The admission process is quite simple, you must apply through either the MG university admission portal or directly to the institution. An interview will take place, and all your academic documents will be verified.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The college offers BSc. Botany and Biotechnology (Double main) and MSc. courses with well structured curriculam . I opted the BSc. double main degree because it was a unique academic combination with importance to both theory and practical. You can have a better understanding of both the subjects and its practical aspects. The institute offers well trained academic faculties who are experts in their field of study. They are helpful,approachable and friendly. Teaching method includes both smartclass lecturing and hands on lab training. Exams are done semester wise as per the MG university schedule.

Class Size : 20Course Fees : INR 25000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The course fees is around 25000 if applied through MG university admission portal and it can vary for direct application to the institute. Small expenses for course materials will be there but it is affordable. On campus placements are less but students can always apporach faculties for details about internships and job vacancies.

Campus Life :

The campus is small and less attarctive but the values and memories it can give you are for a lifelong. The campus offers all kinds of fun and enjoyments including Freshers day, Farewell celebrations, Onam ,Christmas and Field studies/ IV trips ( which is personally my favorite). Sports day and other curricular activites are offered by the Main SCMS campus which you can also be a part of. Classrooms are spacious and with smartclass learning. Laboratories are well equipped with wide range of instruments for practical learning. You will get lab training on many biotechniques. Social group and clubs are not offered since the number of students are less.

About My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as it is related to medical field and biology is the main base. Everyone who loves biology will find it interesting. The syllabus is not that tough. After completing graduation we can join any multispeciality hospital as a dietitian, as a fitness trainer in a gym or as a personal celebrity dietitian. Post graduation and phd will be cherry on cake. This profession is futuristic as it is developing and there is a high demand abroad. I think virtual learning will be the best for this kind of course and college should provide it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love this course because it is highly demanding. The faculty-student ratio is about 41:7. The teachers secured higher knowledge in their fields. Their teaching methods were excellent. The exams were conducted between six months gap having six semesters.

Placement Experience:

I don't know about campus placement in our college. My plan is to complete the BSc Botany course and do some environment-related work. The college offers several courses and imminent teaching. Those who learn with their heart and put the effort into their task will find a job somewhere.
