Please don't join this college just because it has less fees

Remarks :

I joined KDC because it was affiliated to Bangalore University and the fees was affordable and less in-comparison with other BU affiliated colleges. It could be because it is a less known college, the brand image is not strong. The campus is also okay, it is spread in 21 acres area. But the problem is in this 21 acre area there are other department campuses are also present. Such as nursing, pharmacy, MBA, 11th & 12th and Degree. So the campus feel inadequate for such huge population roughly around 2000 students from all departments. The second thing it is in the outskirts of the city, and the area around it is under developed. Hostel facility is not good, rooms are spacious but facilities like water supply, bed bugs, drug addicts was not very suitable. So one must opt out of hostel and must stay in PG because hostel canteen food was also poor.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Talking about academics, than they follow BU whatever syllabus BU issue they teach that. The teaching is completely theoretical, no practical knowledge or creativity. Teachers are mostly not good and few faculty which are good in teaching will leave after one year because management don't treat them well. Every week there is test and assignments no time to relax and enjoy, they hardly organise any college events. No internship opportunity, no industry visit and very poor placement. Only thing is good that they have students from different parts as well as some from neighbour countries so you get some exposure. But in terms of academics it is very poor and I would suggest to look for other options such Jain College.

Internships Opportunities :

No internship nothing, and for this i am regretting till date. Because internship plays a very important role in graduation as well as in future. But college don't provide any internship and if someone gets internship they don't allow them to attend as they have so strict attendance policy.

Placement Experience :

During my time 7-8 companies visited and all were BPO jobs with a salary of just 10000-12000 p.m.Few of my batch mates got laced but that was off campus placement and completely because of their hard work.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees is less compare to other colleges which is 70000-75000 per year which translates to 2,45,000 in 3 years. But please don't join this college just to save some money. You will not get good knowledge, nor you can enjoy your college life nor they give good opportunities to grow such as internship, scholarship or placements.

Campus Life :

Life at campus is okay, if you make good friends you will enjoy little bit. But from college side there is highly any encouragement. They have strict attendance policy, so you can't bunk some classes and enjoy some time with your friends. Canteen is also pathetic as well as the food. Cleaning is not proper and thus it stinks. They don't have big grounds for sports all they have is a basketball court that too in not great condition.

Hostel Facilities :

Krupanidhi Degree College

Exam Structure :

Pass 12th Board Exam

Admission :

The admission process was smooth, they just check your boards exam score. If it is above 60% than you will get direct admission no need of any written test or GD.

The placements are quite good . Placement for computer science branch is very nice. Average package all around branches is like 3.5 to 4.5 LPA. The highest package is around 27LPA. If we didn't get any placements means we need to develop more skills and attend and offline interview and get placed.

Placement Experience:

There is a mandatory internship for students during the summer break after their 1st year of MSc. BASE Placement Cell (BPC) is responsible to look after the placement and internship opportunities for the students. However, the students need to opt-in for their service or they can handle it on their own. The first batch will graduate in the year 2022 and hence there is no placement record for the same.
