Remarks :

I applied to this college because the college campus is very big and nature friendly. College teachers are very good at learning and communication. They provide the best classes to understand the subject. Addmission Criteria: At first you crack the joint examination otherwise you can also get direct addmission to the college. The minimum mark is 80% and the minimum age is 18. Addmission Process: At first come to the college and get the addmission.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I like this course. It's a technical course that builds my future. Various types of opportunities I have to do this course. There are 100 students in our class. All the teachers are highly qualified. And they are teaching very well. Total 3 exams we have in each semester. The first two is a unit test and the last one is the Final exam. Question is not very tough although not easy. There are quality questions and solve them wisely.

Class Size : 300Course Fees : INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Coursera offered many courses our college and Coursera collab each other. Adrent offers many courses. The courses are very useful. And Internshala also offered internships. Many internship opportunities provides our college.

Placement Experience :

In the 6th semester, students can eligible for campus placement. Various types of companies visited like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Reliance, HP, HTC, Amazon, Microsoft, etc. The average package is 4 to 5 lac and the highest package is up to 10 lac. 90% of students getting placements. My plan after getting the degree I go for higher studies.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total Course fee is 4 lac. There are a total of 8 semesters the 1st-semester fee is 85300 it's a provisional fee. The other semester fee is 45000 each. Swami Vivekananda Merit cum means scholarship. We have good campus jobs. Many companies are come to the college to hire candidates.

Campus Life :

Lots of books have in our college library. Different types of classrooms we have. various types of sports like football, cricket, volleyball, etc. We have a Facebook profile and our official website that every student can access.

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

Overall only one thing is important is about hardwork with smart work . You have to work on your skills rest college is there to help you to show the path from your college to carrier .

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
