Remarks :
There are three reasons that made me choose IIM Ahmedabad. Firstly, because of the legacy and history of the institute. It is one of the oldest campus in the country. Secondly, Ahmedabad is a good place to live in and lastly, because of the placement. The placement are good in the institute.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The first year is divided into three terms. All terms have equal number of subjects. Each term is divided into two slots. In each slots, there are four subjects. So, each terms have eight subjects. In total we have 24 subjects in the first year.
Internships Opportunities :
The Summer internship is similar to the final placement process. It is divided into three cluster- Cluster 1, Cluster 2, and Cluster 3. Cluster 1 involves Finance, Consulting role. Cluster 2 involves Marketing and FMCG and Cluster 3 involves Product Management role. The average stipend offered is around lakhs.
Placement Experience :

Fee Structure And Facilities :
The total fee of the entire course is around 24 to 25 lakhs. The fees need to be paid in quarterly basis. The institute provides scholarship to its students on the basis of merit. There is Adity Birla Scholarship which is provided to 4 or 5 students. Apart from these, there is scholarship provided by the Government of India to the unpriveledge and backward class community.
Campus Life :
The club activities are going on but most of the activities are having online. There are around 20 clubs. We called these clubs "Student Managed Association." Every year, there is club selection process. There is also an incremation centre for students.
Hostel Facilities :
In IIM Ahmedabad, there is 100% residential program. So, every students offer hostel facilities. All students are alloted single room with A/C facilities. Most of the new hostel provides A/C facility.
Admission :
In IIM Ahmedabad, there is Analytical Writing Test followed by Personal Interview. Candidates were given 25 minutes to write on a critical analysis. The process was really smooth. For the PI, the penal consists of two faculties. The questions that were asked were based on my interest, why MBA, General Knowledge questions about current affairs, world affairs, economics, how i see my skill sets being used in a managerial setting. The personal interview lasted for 25 minutes.
