Remarks :

I was applied to any other colleges for any other courses. I was also not applied for any quota for admission. I got admission here by wbjee ranking and counselling. I got 86 percentage in higher secondary so I got the admission easily and the process of the admission is so easy and here the admission cell's sir is good. They are so helpful. They will guide you and make your admission process easy.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The exam conduction process is good. It basically bases on the course. There is two unit text in one semester. Then the final semester exam. The final exam is on time. If you do your course and timely done assignment problem. The exam is really easy for all students. The teacher never pressurized for anything.

Class Size : 140Course Fees : INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There are some companies which offer internships for the students of our college. Tata consultancy services offer internships to the student but without any stipend. Coca cola company also offered for few students the internship.

Placement Experience :

The percentage of students getting placement is high. Most of the students are getting jobs on campus. There are some big companies like Tcs, Genpact etc. They take some employees from our college. After getting the degree, I want to do some higher study.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees structure of the college is good. There will not be any difficulty with the fees structure. There are many opportunities for many scholarships and also teaches help you to get some courses for the scholarship and they will make you the opportunity. The cost of the study is worth it here. There are many job opportunities on campus.

Campus Life :

A few days back there was a farewell party, the name of the farewell fest is lamhe and there are also many fest and tech fest happing in the college . The library of the college is bizarre. There are many kinds of books, journals and science magazines and more other kinds of books. About sports, there are many options like basketball, tennis, cricket, football etc. There are many clubs on campus like space club, photography club, art club etc. And Gnit has the first space club.

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

Overall only one thing is important is about hardwork with smart work . You have to work on your skills rest college is there to help you to show the path from your college to carrier .

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
