Remarks :

I chose this course because I wanted to become a software Engineer. The faculty is too good helpful and caring about students & student ratio 1:55. The faculty is highly qualified all facilities have completed their master & some have completed their PhD. The exams are held timely according to the academic calendar & the levels of the exam are moderate if you study you will be able to clear the exam easily.

Course Curriculum Overview :

A good company offers internships and good roles offered to bright students and a good stipend is given. The project is clarified beautifully and the outcomes are good. The project on web development and app development is given. The outcomes are good and help society. College also some times give internship to students

Class Size : 180Course Fees : INR 408000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The students become eligible for campus 4th year. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, cognizant, Accenture, Amazon& many more companies. They offer handsome salary. Highest package 8.00 lakh/ year avearge package 4.00 lakh /year. 80-90% getting placed. My plans after the degree is to a get a job.

Campus Life :

For 4 years in B.Tech course, you have to pay 408000. There is the opportunity of a scholarship if you are decent in your studies & if you carry good marks. There is a chance of financial assistance if you can show the proper details. The college gives max students campus jobs.

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

Overall only one thing is important is about hardwork with smart work . You have to work on your skills rest college is there to help you to show the path from your college to carrier .

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
