Remarks :
My college name is an institute of hotel management Yamunanagar bhambholi Haryana, I had applied for this college because I wanted to explore my knowledge and skills, to take admission to these colleges you have to give nchm Jee exam conducted by NTA, your rank will decide your college or if you have any Quota then you will get better college, in this, you have to obtain minimum 50% in 12th and English subjects mandatory after results came you have to apply for counselling round there are 3 rounds in which you can fridge or float your seat for next round then go to your college physically and take admission there.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As in all ihm colleges are semester wise approx 6 months period in this you have to give midterm exam and then final and you have to clear all theory exam and practical exam also the exam is moderate not so much difficulty or not so easy I choose this course because. I want to improve my understanding, knowledge, and skills on a practical basis. If you go want to pursue your carrier in teaching in ihm college you have to clear masters in hotel management and then you have to clear nett exam for becoming a professor in ihm college. In my college, there are 8 professors including seniors and juniors also. In my college, 1 faculty can teach 50 students.
Internships Opportunities :
As we know this industry is not well known by everyone so the student has to know knowledge about practical and theoretical both well. You have to give an interview for your industrial training if you will be selected go to your hotel and do hard work with smart work. I have done my training from the courtyard by Marriott gurugram downtown for 3 months and got paid 3500 per month but there are many hotels that cant give stipends to the trainee.
Placement Experience :
For campus placement, you have to be a 6th semester student of your college. the college will attract many companies to come and take their students interviews because hotels also want many students who are pursuing Hospitality management from and college Companies like oberoy, taj, rediisonblue, green tea, and many more The highest package is offered to a senior student is 1.5L p.a college will provide you information about job's interviews at the end you have to give interviews by your self If you have clear a interviews before your final exam you will vot a job if not then don't worry about this you will get job by giving interviews to HR.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college fees structure is moderate semester fees is 47000 and hostel fees is 20000 approx further fees is increased a little bit as you go higher in this 2000 is security money which is refundable at the end of the degree, college fees are dependent on the area/ locality for example like institute of Hospitality management Pusa fees structure is much higher as compared to ihm Yamunanagar the total fees to complete the degree will cost you 5 to 6 lakh. There is some scholarship in my college like sc/sd/obc scholarship or if you have a financial crisis then fees will deduct for you for this you need an income certificate as proof. In my college, many companies will come and take interviews in the 6th semester like Oberoi, Taj.
Campus Life :
There are many fests organized by colleges like sports festivals, competitions in the bakery, and many more, the top 3 will get rewards and certificates as well festivals are conducted in between November to December months. Yes, books and journals are also available in the library you can go there and issue books for 10 days and after 10 days reissue the book. Amenities in classrooms like LED lights, AC, digital projectors, etc. Which is used by students only and you will get clean washrooms and locker rooms as well and all students will get a good environment for study. There is some separate place for playing badminton, cricket, football, Volleyball, etc. There is a club for all 1st, 2nd, 3rd year students which is thered, blue, yellow and green team.
Hostel Facilities :
If you are from outside you will need Accommodation for easy living and hostel is the place where you will get a room at a cheap price and it's a little bit easy to work taking college In a hostel room, you will get 3 single bedrooms with a common headboard in the washroom you will get hot water or cold water separately in the hostel you will get indoor games like table tennis, carom, ludo, etc. In the hostel mess, there is a cyclic menu everyday different menu and it will respect again after a week.
