Remarks :

I applied in the Institute of hotel management yamunanagar. And I was not attending the college in the last semester due to the Covid-19. In this admission criteria, the minimum marks is 50 percent and age 18+. The admission process is clearing the exam of NCHMCT then on the basis of rank the colleges are alloted to all the students. After the college alloted to me and i went their for my final document submitted to the college team. Iam very happy by the college environment.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I love the cook and the hospitality industry allows us to develop ourselves - professionally and as a person. It is a great course. It enhances our management skills. The faculty was very helpful. The ratio of male faculty is more than the female faculty. The qualification of Faculty is post-graduated and years of experience. The teaching method of the faculty is very good. They provide us the notes and helps us when we have any doubts. The exams were conducted every six months. It was low difficult because the teachers clear all the doubts.

Internships Opportunities :

I got an internship in Cidede de Goa hotel in Goa with a stipend Rs.1000 per month. My roles were Handling the customers, treat them peacefully, learning the atticates in how to attend the customers, Cleanliness, Cooking, arranging the activities for their tourists. I got a project aware about the cleanliness in the kitchen for nearby places of the hotel and college.

Placement Experience :

In the ending of 5th semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like- Reliance, Taj Hotel, Mariott Hotel, Holiday Inn, McDonald's, Barbeque-Nation etc. visited and a number of offers are 20-30 approx. The highest and average package as per company for restaurants is Rs 20000 approx. The percentage of students must be above 70% for getting the placements. If No campus placement is offered then the students either go for the post-graduate degree or getting a job from their own skills. I am pursuing M.Sc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration after getting the degree. I want to become a Academics.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees of this course is around Rs.40000 per semester. No, I do not get any schlorship, financial assistance. I went for industrial training in Cidade De Goa in Goa with a stipend of 1000. Yes, I got a job in Hyderabad with 9000 stipends. I am very happy in this job.

Campus Life :

The fresher party was conducted in the first semester. All subject books and journals are available in the library in all times. The classroom was very big and fully Air Conditioner. Amenities are- Audio Video, Projector, Laptops. There was a big sports room. In which we play indoor games like Table Tennis, Chess, Carrom boards. The extracurricular activities are held on the campus on the monthly basis. I was also got awards. The Swachtta Abhiyan was a social group run by the students.

Hostel Facilities :

The facilities are provided in the rooms are - ironing, gardening, induction, cleanliness washroom, washing machine etc. Thus it was the hospitality, the meal quality was very awesome. The aim of that college canteen was that no food get wasted. We have to finish all the food items kept in our plate. The menu is prepared by all the students who are part of the college hostel on the Room Number wise rotation. The registration process is online for that college. The rooms were allotted on the basis of rank in the NCHMCT exam. It was easily affordable. Since I got a college hostel, I was not rented a room or PG.

I wanted to do Information technology and my college offered me this course. I think there are not so much students right now in information technology sector but there should be a lot more knowledge. So i would say students can consider IT

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is related to science and technology that's why I chose this course. The curriculum prepares us to learn and develop new technology and the curriculum also helps in further studies. The time for the exam is 3 hours which is okay and the difficulty level is moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc. Physics (Hons.), there is no such reason behind choosing this course as I had PCM in my 12th but I was sure that I don't want to study chemistry anymore and had not much interest in Mathematics that's why I chose Physics and I had a bit interest in it too. Physics Department at Rps is quite small it has only 9 teachers. They have too much burden on them. As there are almost 9 classes including 6 bsc general ones and 3 Hons classes for both theory and practicals. If we talk about teachers' qualifications they are well qualified. But only a few have proper good teaching methods most of them are not good at teaching. There are too many clashes between teachers and students in our batch especially. The exams are of moderate level. They are organized by IG University, Meerpur which is among low-grade universities. You will not get any benefits or perks by graduating from this university or college. And the results are also in the university's hands (not satisfactory)

Though most of the students have opted to go for higher education, the placement at Ashoka is good. Nearly 250+ companies visit Ashoka for recruitment every year. The highest package has been 37LPA. The highest stipend has been 1.5 lakhs per month. The average package is 7-8 lakhs per annum. They assist students to go for higher education in India as well as abroad.
